Not sure if this is true... but there have been issues related to what your talking about in many forums. Something about how 1.0 makes some characters a little stiff and slow causing combos to be delayed.

Not sure how to fix this, but I'm pretty sure it has to deal with the character capability. As in, 1.0 characters seem to work fine. (obviously) but WinMugen character get stiff. Maybe you can try converting any WinMugen characters you have to 1.0.  :-\

Im not so much into 1.0, but its worth trying.  ;)

Ah okay, thanks guys! :) I decided to stick with WinMugen... not saying I have a problem with 1.0, I love its quality and stability over crashes, but there's too many variables. >.< WinMugen is pretty simple, easy, and beginner friendly in my opinion. In other words, easy to work with.

I'm sure I can deal with crashes every now and then, along with sound problems... but I can fix that. (I already have) This is all in my opinion by the way... but I can hold off until 1.1.  :sugoi:

Thanks!

So your saying... I can give a non-1.0 character quotes if I just copy and paste the code inside their .cns correctly? Or are you saying I have to fully convert that character into 1.0... ?

I know this is going to sound like a noob question... lol, but bare with me... 1.0 is very new to me... xD

Umm, how do I edit a character's win quote that Mugen 1.0 requires once a match is won... :o

I always see Mugen 1.0 forums and info on how, obviously,... its better than WinMugen in many ways.
I've never been a fan of 1.0, I've always loved my WinMugen Plus.... but.... now I'm getting tempted into getting it.

I was curious on weather or not it has screenpacks... or as what I heard "power packs" but idk. If so, where can I find them? And for the record... I really dont have a widescreen monitor... I have a IBM Square monitor... so... doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose.... xD

thanks...  8)

I just went to "Hosted Older Creations" then went to any of the selections provided. And it worked. You might want to try again.  :)

maybe its a cheap character :???:

Yeah, thats what we are trying to figure out...  :P

Anyways, if it's not the life, then it has to deal with something in that characters states. There could be some type of trigger or code making its health infinite. I apologies, I really cant help you with that, since I'm not to familiar with coding. I'm getting there...  :sugoi:

Hope this helped...

Again, this could be a lack of "gravity" or some type of code into that character. It has to be something to do with that character's in-depth coding. I'm not to familiar with that.

Otherwise, I would have to blame it on MUGEN... it could sometimes mess around with characters Like maybe make them walk in air. But If you say you have 1.0, then it cant be. It just raises the question. :S

The lack of "gravity" and "velset" in that character's constants could be causing that to happen. In other words... the character might not have a code for where he should stop when the move is performed.

You would have to go into his constants and change/add it.  :-\

If you dont already have the program "Fighter Factory", then I would recommend you download it. Its a program that lets you edit characters, ect. If you dont want to, then you can just open up that character's .cns with notepad.

Anyways, look for "data" and underneath it should be his "life" along with other variables. If it has something like "life = 99999" or whatever that seems higher than at least 5000, then that's the problem. Change it to "life = 1000" (usually normal health)  :)

If that's not the problem, then it has to be something to do within the .cns such as its statedef's... Maybe that character just isn't compatible with MUGEN 1.0...  :-\

CPU on TV Screen Problem...

I recently connected my CPU to my HD "VIZIO" TV. So now I'm basically using my TV screen as a monitor.
But I did run into a problem that pretty much defeats the purpose. Say I want to play an emulator. I make it full screen... ALT + ENTER, and then it shows full screen, however the picture is off... as in... it is a little up making the bottom black and the top not visible.

Any help would be appreciative...  ;)
BTW - It also does this with MUGEN...  --;

Characters with OFF THE CHARTS AI's... seriously, it annoys me. The idea of the characters are good! But having a tough AI just defeats the purpose.

Such as...
- Colonel Sanders
- Wonder Woman
- Jill

All great characters but hard AI's...  --;

Hmm... I really dont see anything wrong...

If it has the EXACT same name it had when you downloaded, added into "select" correctly, has an ".sff"... then you should be good.

It could be just the stage itself, might be broken. Double check everything, and make sure you did it correctly and there is no errors in either one of the .def files. If not, then I would just get a different stage.  :-\
