Jnxc wow didn't think you were still around nice to see you. What happened to all the other characters you had on your website?

I'm often brought back here by emails/ PMs and such... I posted my kickstarter project here around June last year I think. Anyway, With all the mugen works I had going on, it was all lost, and I never really sent the new female and male character to anyone. I only recently got my JnXC character back from Xenomic, but I can not be bothered to redo everything that was lost, The new sprites and custom intros with other creators characters were really time consuming (The beta build should still have one against S.Dio).

Ko-Ki is most likely off limits due to him being the main spriter for Cryamore (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/robaato/cryamore-a-true-first-class-take-on-the-action-rpg)

I'm sure you're already aware of the SNK's Dot creation method - (Link added anyway)
http://kofaniv.snkplaymore.co.jp/english/info/15th_anniv/2d_dot/creation/index.php

Please note how many years each character took for these professionals to complete; your project appears over ambitious with the amount of characters and sprite style ... Also, maybe this article will interest you;

http://kotaku.com/5986592/it-will-blow-your-mind-to-see-how-much-it-costs-to-add-one-new-character-to-a-fighting-game

Quite a good read with things like having to create double the amount of sprites you ask for etc

May have to edit this post when I get home, phones acting up...

It won't be by me, if I were to pick it up again I'd want to redo the whole thing to kof xii style sprites, and give him completely new original moves. But then id rather just start from scratch.

None taken, I developed it to around 70%, with a ton of custom intros, new sprites, animations, specials & supers, alongside 2 other characters I was creating. But lost everything and had to ask around for someone to send me my character back, after that I couldn't work on it no more.

I wanted to do it all over, make a new character now that I've improved so much in spriting etc, but just need a partner to code & such since I've forgotten all that ...ugh

I'm ashamed the character never made it past around 30/40% done... the character was rushed as part of a 12 week project at the University I was attending.

We do, but we have other problems we must take care of first & do not want to risk waiting to see if the campaign would be successful or not.

We're just working at a much slower pace =/ the game Will be made

I manage to get inta contact with BRI, he seems to be doing well =]

Thank you phantasm wolf, I was a little confused with your post but going over them now
-I won't be having class, just 3 characters who will play Very differently. but they'll most likely be seen as 'warrior, ranger/thief & mage.
-sadly I haven't played both games, so I don't quite know what ya mean exactly, but that does sound like our mage.
-the third point i completely understand thanks to maplestory (lol) but with the way i'm spriting and the amount, aside from the weapon, I doubt i'd be able to do anything major unless it's accessories like glasses/guantlets etc.

Don't worry, any and all suggestions are welcome and appreciated =], and if you think that's too much work, wait till ya see what's planned for all the visuals.

Just commenting to me, is helping me out, it shows interest in this project at the very least. You could do the same and follow/like our FB page (www.facebook.com/humidgames) =]

I'll hopefully be able to update the 1st post soon with more material, images and info as we hope to launch our kickstarter campaign soon.

Sounds good, I especially like the achievement names. I'm not limited to using only one of the ideas listed so if it's ok, if i use your ideas in the game I wish to also find a way to give credit to you so I will more than likely contact you when it's sprited/coded.

Erroratu - First few screenshots I honestly thought it was dynasty warriors (google images) but the more I see the more interesting it looks, many thanks for that - i'll be checking it out. also, the hometown houses many things that i've not listed here; there was a huge amount of text and I only copied what I thought may be interesting to this forum, leaving more than 50% of it out. =]

bloodriotiori for his riot ken and gouken...! oh speaking of his gouken, alexlexus i remember.
xvynx for his evil ryu, violent ken and... bah it probably doesn't even matter what names i remember i'll just listen to the people who suggests things etc. So far I really like that KFM idea =]

You could have KFM as a hidden boss. (Ex. in a stage, having a certain item to find a secret path to the Mountain Temple.) You could also have some of the users from MFG as background characters. That's all I have for ideas at the moment. This is coming along nicely though. I wish you good luck!

KFM of course, the default char and stage that comes with mugen lol Thank you so much, that sounds great. The problem with the other part is, I only remember a few MFG users, but don't even know who's around and who's gone.

Thanks again, If ya have any ideas on how to represent mugen/ the mugen community, please let me know. I thought it would be kl to put wild tengu in there or cyanide (i've been missing from mugen for years so I only remember people from MFG from around that time...)

Honestly, any ideas you may have throw them my way =]
