Thanks and I'm glad you liked.

I figured it needed to be done for this stage because all the others have been reproduced long ago by Neogouki and a handful of other people.

If I'm not mistaken the only one left to be a complete conversion is Balrog's Las Vegas because no one yet has released a version of it with fully coded bikini dancers in it.

You should make it to where win someone wins, the bikini dancers take off their tops ;D

Now, with MK9 and Skullgirls being released this year, perhaps there's a chance of seeing more fighters(as well as brawlers, and beat em' up's) coming from te western region?

Maybe a revival of Killer Instinct and Clayfighter?

Show Japan(and Korea and Taiwan) that they're not the only one that can make fighters.

No offense but IMO Clayfighter has to rank among one of the stupidest fighting games ever made, like, it's a total embarassment... Like something Homer Simpson would have put together lol.... But KI fucking rocks.

This is basically what I work on in my off time from studying... I'm working on a story cannon involving Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Killer Instinct, Art Of Fighting, Fatal Fury, World Heroes, King Of Fighters, Tekken, Virtua Fighter, Ultra Vortek, Double Dragon/Rage Of The Dragons, Battle Arena Toshinden, Guilty Gear, Darkstalkers, Samurai Shodown, Soulcalibur, Dead Or Alive, Power Instinct/Groove On Fight, Fighter's History, and Bloody Roar series... And also other loose chars from various fighting games. Warriors from all over the world (and some are from other worlds).

I may never have all the chars for the mugen game (I hope I do some day but I probably won't :( ) But I am at least putting the storylines together.... There are several top bosses, Bison, Rugal, Shinnok, Jinpachi, That Man, Raidou, and some others act as the top generals under a self-invented char called Mephistopheles. There are rivalries, alliances, and groups.... I'm thinking on making the antagonists be Jax and Guile. Jax leads a special forces unit with Guile (his 2nd in command), John Crawley, and Sonya Blade... Crawley sort of has a crush on Sonya....

But it's gonna have like realistic personalities, street types and such. Basically it's gonna be a mugen story cannon with a somewhat adult theme...

Like, there are around roughly 10 theaters the villains operate in:

                                                                             Crime Boss                                                               Military Leaders

    1. North America                                               Geese Howard                                                          Bryan Fury
    2. South/Central America                                  Damnd                                                                      (Cyborg) Ramirez (from Manhunt)
    3. Western Europe                                           Wolfgang Krauser                                                      Rolento
    4. Eastern Europe                                            Karnov                                                                       Sergei Dragunov
    5. Arabia (N. Africa/Middle East)                       Ramses III (from Eternal Champion)                         Dolf (from Tuff Enuff)
    6. South Africa                                                  Dreadlock                                                                  Colonel (from Shaq Fu)
    7. East Asia                                                      Jin Kazama                                                                Kabal
    8. Australia                                                       Mr. Big                                                                       Kano
    9. Pacific Islands                                               King Hippo (modified)                                                Cyber Warren
  10. Non-Earth                                                     Shang Tsung                                                             Reiko

Each region has a crime boss who leads criminal operations, which are used to financially support the terrorist armies of the evil alliance.. These crime bosses may run several operations, take for example Geese Howard who runs the North American crime syndicate, two separate criminal enterprises answer to him, on one you have (lead by Heavy D!) the American Gangstas, (Balrog, TJ Combo, and Michael Max), on the other is a biker gang called Devil's Disciples, lead by Chris Wayne, (Jack Turner, Rufus, and Truck Davis)... Or in the Western Europen Theater Wolfgang Krauser is the crime boss, he runs multiple splinter crime operations across his region (such as Birdie and Billy Kane operating in UK, Laurence Blood and Vega operating in Spain, Lion Rafale in France, etc)... Above the crime level there is a terrorist general in each theater who runs the military operations for the evil alliance...

These terror army leaders answer to the Council (Bison, Shinnok, Rugal, Jinpachi, etc), whom are gaurded by 2 gaurdians (Goro and Eyedol)... And at the top is Mephistopheles..

I also modified King Hippo for my story due to lack of Pacific Islander chars to fill the role of Pacific Island crime boss... He is a cult leader, his cult worships the image of the hippo... "Hippo South Pacific Island" is a place in Samoa, his cult's reservation... He's like one of those people who gets surgery done to look like an animal (in his case, a hippo)... He also took up sumo as a way of getting around the knock-down factor, he learned to use his weight and build to his advantage, so he fights with a boxing/sumo mixed style....

As much as I like Fighter's History, there is a reason why SF still has sequels, and Karnov does not.
The gameplay is similar to SF2 but not totally the same though.... But very similar... But then again there were tons of SF clones, hell most of the SNK games were clones of SF2, games like Art of Fighting, World Heroes, Fatal Fury, Breaker's Revenge, Martial Champion, King Of Fighters, they were also similar.. But they were all good games and they all had something which made them unique.. I think Fighter's History also seems to have a small dab of Rage Of The Dragons in it.... It's sort of hard to explain why I think that though.
World Heroes wasn't SNK's property until the year 2000. Breakers Revenge & Martial Champion were not made by SNK...and I think your impression comes from playing with Ray, am I right?

Also, part of the team that worked on Art of Fighting was made of ex-Capcom employees.
Ryo Sakazaki resembling Ryo
lol

All I meant was that those games were similar, I know some of them weren't SNK games and they weren't necessarily ripped off from SF2... I stated that all those games each had something unique about them. The only point i was making is saying that anyone who concludes Fighter's History (FH) to be a rip off of SF2, may as well conclude any other game that was similar to SF2 was a rip off, which would be an equally false conclusion, but I see no reason to single FH out.. All those games are similar, but they also all unique.

I can't read japanese writing chars either, though I wish I did know how... It gets frustrating, but then again I can't really blame the creators, they may not know English and better than I know Japanese... And hell, even if I did know japanese, I'd still be more likely to write in my native language, so it only makes sense they would wanna write in their native language too... I wish there was some sort of translation software available :S

I think it depends on rather it is a 2D or 3D game as to rather SF or Tekken has the best fighters.... In a 2D game lots of SF chars would own, due to the fact that not many Tekken chars have long range projectiles or fireballs.... However, that wouldn't make much difference in a 3D game because such types of attacks would be easy to sidestep. So it'd be a lot more even in a 3D game...

I hear theyr making 2 games though, Street Fighter vs. Tekken, and Tekken vs. Street Fighter.... My guess is one will be more like SF, the other more like Tekken.

Well not all MK chars are ninjas, besides I think theyr trying to get away from that stigma, chars like Reptile for instance doesn't even look like a ninja anymore, he just looks like a giant lizard. But even the ninjas have different chars and backgrounds... Sub Zero, Scorpion, Ermac, and Noob are awesome, I don't care what anyone says. But there's still tons of other chars, like Kano, Liu Kang, Raiden, Jax, Sonya, Kano, Johnny Cage, Stryker, Baraka, Kabal, Nightwolf, who are not ninjas at all....

Dude it seems like a trend among fighting game fans on fighting game forums and shit, to hate on MK, kinda like how all the gothies hate on Marylin Manson (not saying I am a goth or that I like MM, just saying it seems like one of these so-called "progressive" identity trends). Fact remains MK is one of the 2 highest selling fighting game series of all time, so people obviously see something in it.

Personally, I have yet to see a perfect fighting game... With the ones I like, there are still things I think they could improve on... And even with the ones I don't like, most of them still have at least a few things I do like about them.
