Showing more improvement:) It's a little bit better than the previous ones... I mean they could deal to be a little more aggressive and tougher, but it comes in time. I've heard through the grapevine that KI chars are a bitch to work with in FF..... I still keep KI1 Sabrewulf over KI2, even though KI2 sabrewulf has a better sprite... Only because KI1 Sabrewulf fights better, but, I keep a spare KI2 sabrewulf downloaded to my desktop for when I get better at editing, I may eventually help you out with an AI file (once I get more experience under my belt)....

But I do have to hand it to you though bro, good work....

Hey I'm just starting to work with FF a little bit and I think I can use Burai Yamamoto to make a Little Mac..... I downloaded Burai, but I can't find his AI file anywhere.. Without it, he sucks. Does anyone know where I can find his AI file?

He looks disproportionate in the pic at the top of the page, where he is doing an uppercut. It looks like his shoulders are way too big.

I have some of them, I have Astro, Rip Saber, Biff Slamovich, but I also don't have, and do want, King Rasta Mon and Alexander the Greater, and I am having a hard time finding any downloads of them.... I was wondering if anyone knew where I may find these chars?

Does anyone have a list of Slam Master chars made to download or anything?

Rip Saber, and Alexander the Grater, from Saturday Night Slam Masters.... I found a link to a Saber download but, when I went there the entire site was in Japanese and I clicked on all the links, but none of them appeared to have any mugen char downloads :-\

Does anyone know where I can find either of these characters?

  ------------------ edited-----------------------------------------------

I found Saber, I had to go through almost every download there by their pics, which never had anything to do with the char you were downloading, and the entire site was in Japanese... But I found it, he's a decent char, I think I may keep him.... I also wanted to check out if there was an Alexander the Greater, but thus far I haven't found a download for him online.

Yeah I'm sure I want to reply (to that red box above me telling me "this topic has not been posted in for at least 30 days...."

Anyhow, yeah I was wondering something here.... I looked up power instinct on youtube and I noticed that the chars on there all seem to move up and down into the background.... Will these chars be workable in regular mugen?

Also, will these chars be available individually?

Hey, don't download it again or anything like that.  Fortunately, your problem is very very simple.  In order for Mugen to run a character, the folder and .def file must be the same.  So, if you want to run him Arcade size, change the Arcade_size.def file to MortalKombat1_GORO.def.  Don't touch the .def file, unless you want to change the folder name.  Remember, .def file and folder names must match up.  If you want arcade, change the Arcade_size.def to MortalKombat1_GORO.def, and if you want to run it Mugen_size, chage the .def file to MortalKombat1_GORO.def.

I did this and it worked:) I only have 1 question now, whenever Goro wins or looses a fight (he usually wins), the bg music stops... I went through his CNS file and deleted all the "flag= nomusic" codes, but it still stops the background music anyhow when he finishes a fight. Is there a way I can get it to stop doing this?

Omegapsycho made some good ones
http://www.omegapsycho.webs.com/

I tried to download his Goro, but when it came up the .def file was "MUGEN_Size.def," or "ARCADE_Size.def." The download itself came up under MortalKombat_GORO or something like that.... I tried to download him and it exited the mugen and gave me an error message.
I use Arcade size purely because he's a boss for me, but your select DEF should read;

Code:
MortalKombat_GORO/ARCADE_size.def, random

Copy paste that, and if that doesn't work, redownload the character and try again.

It didn't work, with either ARCADE size or MUGEN size..... Was I supposed to copy the "random" part at the end?

Yeah that's the guy, but I don't really want the entire game I just want that one char.... Will they put these chars out individually do you think?

Also I noticed in the PI games, chars could move up and down into the background a little bit... Will these chars be playable in regular mugen, with chars from other games like SF or Neo Geo or MK?

I tried the haomaru out but he was weak though. If you up his attack patterns he'd be good.

    To summarize this:

      1. I can't fix all the sprites, I can stop the shifting to green sprites from shifting to green, so yeah I can fix some of them, by taking your advice here.. But not all of them.

      2. The ones I can fix, with Liu Kang, there still seem to be small parts of shifting blue remaining in small areas like the ankles and the back of the headband... The ones I can fix with baraka seem to be fine though. I still can't stop the red lines on Baraka's shirt from turning blue in his winning animation.

      3. All the sprites in either char here, Baraka or Kang, after the blood spurts and fatality logos and such stuff (non-body sprites), none of the sprites beyond all of that seem to be able to be fixed on either char. In fact, on Baraka, there are some sprites that when I click in the box, they become completely discolored and gliched looking.

Could I maybe delete the 2nd color palette (blue) and replace it with a new one (another red)? Or would that mess something up?

Yah, you can put a little baby bonnet on his head and a pacifier, and he'd have a little bitty head and a little bitty body and huge ass arms and legs... And he'd be named Bobo ;P

It's just an insane joke char I thought up lol...

I've downloaded tons of chars who were either 1. Too difficult to beat, or 2. Too easy to beat... Either theyr some impossible god mode char, or they can't beat their meat without loosing. I try to look for chars who are somewhere in the middle, who can be beaten but still offer a reasonable challenge..

If you put together Dhalsim's head, Zangief's legs, Balrog's arms, and Megaman's body, you'd have one hell of a funny looking char :P

His head and his torso would be madly too small for the rest of his body lol.... I wouldn't even give him moves, I'd just have him stand there and cry when he got hit and say things like "Your a meany" and "I'm gonna go tell my mommy"  :P

Ok I moved it to the configuration help section....

I went through all his sprites and when I got to the ones that needed to be changed, I clicked in that shared box and all it did was screw up and glich the colors, to a bunch of neon static discolored sort of look... When I click "shared" it gives him the wrong color (hence he still shifts colors) and when I unclick shared he ends up in this sprite having no color at all..

I did manage to stop the red parts of his uniform from shifting to green when he does the blade swipe (I'm working on Baraka), but when he gets dizzy or in his winning animation his red parts shift blue, that's what I am having a hard time fixing...

I went and did Liu Kang also, what I've noticed is some sprites can be fixed to one consistent palette, others can't. Usually it's all the sprites coming up before all the blood spurts and fatalities and what not, those are the ones that can be fixed... Anything after that usually can't be straightened out, either in Baraka or Liu Kang...

Ok I went and took a look at Liu Kang in watch mode and I also noticed that the sprites I did fix, even then I could see little bits of blue through the red, like at the back corner of his head band or at the bottom of his pants near his ankles...

Where do I go to view my sprites in FF? Is there a tutorial I can look at? I'm not sure what I'd type in to look this up on youtube...

hey, I dunno if this is the right section to post this in, but I am hoping I got it right.... Ok so here is my problem, I have 2 chars, Baraka and Liu Kang, by Kazmer13, both for regular mugen, and their color palettes keep shifting... The red parts shift from red, to blue, to green whenever they are on screen. I want to get their red parts to remain consistently red.

I just learned how to create color palettes today, I've only done 2 palettes. But they at least had consistent palettes to alter from. This Baraka and Liu Kang do not. So how do I go about getting their palettes to stop shifting colors?
