To be fair, a lot of games use ESC as a pause button, so that really isn't an issue, but sucks to be you, man. A lot of my friends recommended the game, but I'm kinda doubting them because they also said NeverDead is a good game, and we all know how that turned out ...

Animated Parallax floor is definitely possible. One way that I know is by stacking up the animation's sprites, then turning each layer off in a sequence using BGCTRLs, so that it appears to be animated.

I'll be waiting for Tamez to explain this more in-depth. lol

I'm pretty sure that's not possible, because the select character sound can only use one specific sound location to be in use.

Yeah, instead of having that screen for that Stage select area, it could be filled with more slots.

As for the Select Area's replacement, you could probably integrate an image with faded edges instead?

Isn't that just the Kyokugen Dojo from CvS1? Eh, it's a destroyed version? I don't really remember clearly, but I'm guessing it gets destroyed once someone wins a match in that game? You could probably start looking in the Guild's Database for it.

Which looks pretty damn good
Though, the color selection definitely resembles the JoJonium feel, the overall art style really isn't the new, realistic Araki art style. It does look really good, though. I'm definitely going to use it as my phone's wallpaper.

Is this the Ogre you're talking about?

If it is, then I suggest recoloring the port to have:
- Reddish brown skin
- Black Gi
- White Hair and eyes

The current Gi  and skin color already works, but I think recoloring the eyes and hair to white might make it look more unique, instead of it just being an Akuma port.

- Has two right hands.
- Shading on the torso looks pretty lacking, and messy.
- The cloth folds on the torn gi and pants look pretty messy as well.

I hope someone gives this sprite a revamp.

Is that suppose to be Death Ogre? I think you should recolor the portrait into his default palette colors.

I honestly think the fish would just clash, in my opinion, due to the lack of frame animation on it.
