BTW, your Bootleg Ryu doesn't have any palettes i his folder, making him crash on launch.

I was putting fixing this off for a stupid reason (planned on updating him a bit) but since I keep putting it off, I just went ahead and reuploaded. Sorry about that.

Finally got around to ripping these. Couldn't find them anywhere so I thought it'd be good to have this uploaded.

Includes all the characters sounds, sorted as best as I could, with a few extra sounds added (mostly character specific ones, like yoshimitsu's sword etc.). I would have done a full rip if I could but these were all I could grab, though I'm more than happy with these.

You could also try making claytalities into lv.3 supers/astral heats/whatever.

Again, his Claytalities are really lame, aside from the cow drop (which I DID consider adding as a super, but, eh, at this rate I went for a more simple, 'accurate' approach.)

A question, do you planned to make more CF63 1/3 chars like Jim??

It's definitely being considered. The first candidate would be Dr. Kiln because I love that guy.

EDIT: Also uploaded a quickfix for the infinites, hopefully.

Holding forward and mashing LP, LK, and/or MP (with strict timing on the latter) results in an infinite for each.

...I do wonder how I was able to miss something that obvious. Fixing that right now.

- Whoa Nelly is supposed to be performed by pressing Down Down and Kick
Whoa nelly ender should be  b, d, db, kick
Uppercut ender should be f, d, df, punch
During diagonal jumping HK, Jim is only supposed to say "eat dirt" if down is held. Otherwise it should be another random voice clip.

I decided to change these. It's not a big deal but I just felt the charge fit the move better.

I change the enders because I just wanted to keep it simple and not get their motions mixed up with other motions, since otherwise he doesn't use d, db, b motions.

I changed the jumping HK, the db HP and i think something else because no one cares and i dont really know why they exist in the first place

- Uppercut should have startup invincibility before first active frame (hittable frame) to make a better anti air
- Whoa Nelly I think also has a little startup invincibility as well

uuuh i guess so alright

- Auto-double system is a bit off. It is actually a reference from the KI2 System and works the same way. It works depending on the strength of the button that was pressed before and operates like this:

Eesh, that's what i get for trusting clayfighter FAQs. I'm not actually very familiar with the system myself, and checking again, yeah, you've pointed out exactly how it works. So, oh boy, got to make a bunch more linkers.

Some more input leniency would also be nice for the autodoubles as you have to wait before the character touches the ground before you can input the autodouble. You should be able to perform it a bit earlier while Jim is still in the air

Eh...maybe. I've honestly grown sick of working on this character, having spent a lot of my week doing it, so after a bit of a break I'll try to come back and work something like that in.

Insane combo, I may add that later. I didn't feel it was entirely necessary though. Granted, a lot of this comes from the fact that I've never played killer instinct nor do have any of its characters for MUGEN, so maybe I should in order to be 'consistent' if a lot of the others do.

As for claytalities, not only would that be a lot of coding that I wouldn't want and/or can't do, but I just don't really see the point. Fatalities and MUGEN are just a weird mix. Besides, Jim's claytalities kinda suck anyway, aside from the cow-dropping reference, which, yeah, I put on his winpose to make up for.

So, hey, new to this whole projects thing. Melvana kinda released Albiole for me (and somehow got most of the credit!?) but I dunno how 'serious' I'd consider that character. Really more for the novelty of the character.

This will be my first 'serious' project: Jamm from the game Golden Axe: The Duel. Ripped the sprites m'self from a Saturn port of the game, which is missing only a few frames of animation, as well as a really cool win pose :'(





Do you guys generally look at 'demos' and give advice, or should I just wait to make a full release first? Either way, I'll go ahead and post what I have so far, which I think is mostly complete aside from Supers, and see what critiques you guys have for a newbie.

I've done about as much as I can think to do right now. I wanted to add another super but was having difficulty coming up with one.

Bear in mind that this is the first 'release' I've ever really done for MUGEN, I guess this came out okay!?
