No, no, no.SUPER BALROG HEADBASH II TURBO HI DEF REMIX
Please, post again your gif in super 4x res. It will be better... like 4 times better in fact.
This day, this topic.'94, actually. And what's wrong with giving a classic game a facelift? Classic gameplay + great new graphics = not good?
So you're telling me you're pleased with this? Playing/purchasing a game you played in '93, with larger omg graphix?
Which in itself, is version of a game that came out a year or two prior to that one, which has been released on just about 15 or so different consoles, over the past 14 years? And you're fine with this? This is acceptable?ST changed the SF2 formula considerably. It was the first Street Fighter game to include super moves, throw teching, and juggles. It was one of the first fighting games ever to have multiple modes for each character. Every character gained moves and/or had moves significantly changed from their SSF2 incarnations.
And it's ok for the consumers (me) to bounce up an down, discuss deeply (as if you were gonna get a new game or something), and then shell out MORE of my money on another Street Fighter II product? Either you we'rent around during the original SFII binge, or you're the biggest SF nerd this side of the Milky Way.Both, I guess. I played SF2WW in arcades, I lived through the franchise's entire history. And I still love it to this day. If this doesn't excite you enough to warant you purchasing it, that's fine, that's your call. No one's forcing you to buy it. But I don't see how taking a classic game, whose gameplay is quality enough that it still gets tournament play worldwide over a decade after its release, and giving it some pretty new graphics is a bad thing in itself.
That just goes to show how after having Street Fighter II shoved down my throat for 10 years does to you. They all are the same, with Turbo having "Supers" and the last 4 newcommers playable. It's still SFII, regardless.Okay, we get it. You don't like SF2. There are many people who do, however. I could take your "they're all the same" comment as an excuse to go into detail on how each of the successive original updates substantially improved the game, but that's for another day and another topic.
Fucking boring.
I mean really, Hyper fighting, AGAIN? Goddamn, Capcom.Err... it's not Hyper Fighting. It's Super Turbo. Hyper Fighting = SF2'T = SF2.3. Super Turbo = SF2.5.
not to mention of all the SF saga, 2 is the most retarded one. That's your opinion. Mine is that SF2's wonderful and encompasses everything that's great about the genre. Later games had fancier graphics and more gimmicks, but SF2 has everything that counts.
Having characters like the FF series, they re-hash the one with all the losers ... Dee Jay, Honda, Blanka ...
Maybe a few years down the road...
