Actually, sort of. As I'm so hyped over SF4, she got some nice ex moves too.
Character is pretty much done, and she is on beta test phase. Might release it this week. A.I. is still around 60-70% thought, and won't be finished in time.

Movelist:

Hold Rush                      When close, b / f + C
Sliding Kick                   df + D

Venom Strike  (Ex)(SC)                 qcf + K
Moushuu Kyaku (Ex)                b,d,db+K
Trap Shot  (Ex)                    f,d,df + K
Tornado Kick (Ex)                  qcb + K

Double Strike (1 gauge)                qcf,qcf + K
Surprise Rose (2 gauges)                 qcf,qcf + P

Screens:

Wait, I've 2 disclaimers:
-Basing in off-style, Raposo isn't should be in the contest either, since he's based his boss in SS style, like me... (sorry man, nothing personal or something, but I used the same style than you and I've out of contest)
Not taken, the contest is more about nice looking sprites using KOF shade than anything, no entry here is really KOF boss material.  :P

Aiming for those Samurai Shodown guys. Still trying to figure which type of unholy sorcery SNK used to shade those sprites thought.

Also, design isn't finished yet, just posting to make sure that I won't miss the timing for entry this time.

Looks nice, the left hand's FX could use some rescale for better perspective thought.

The mirror... really? I spent like 2 mins on that

Haha, I mean it's not actually the best part, I was just amazed. ;P I'd need to spend hours of trial and error to do that.
To know that it just needed 2 mins is even more impressive.

Liked the flames, the hair, the shading and the best part is the perspective you used for the mirror, but the steroids ended up making him look way too manly. It kinda of killed the mood of the character IMO. The necklace (not sure about how it's called) is a bit of overkill too.

"Advanced Guard": More like a bug than an actual feature, if you guard any move, then start alternating between crouch guard and stand guard repeatedly, you cannot be grabbed. Present only in 2k2(?).

There's another useful bug, the one that will prevent you from doing special moves if you're holding a button. Ex: Iori does crouch B (hold B) -> crouch A -> Qcf a (Release B)-> Hcb+Punch for easy crB->crA->FwdA-> Maiden Masher.

For specific character features, you can do with Kyo stC-> Fwd B -> Serpent Wave (Hold Button) and release as soon as the flash ends and he is going to cast the flames out fast enough to combo it.

Thank you all again, people.

Could you show me how to make sprites look SNK-ish? I've been thinking of making an SVC 'Gief and I need to know how to do this in order to proceed.

There isn't really much to talk about... First you resize then so they'll be taller and a bit slimmer... About 95 Horizontal/110 or 105 (Capcom's sprites sizes are a bit unconscistent) Vertical should do it. Now pick someone with the likeness of your character (Tizoc for Zangief) and just start. Also, try to make your character a bit different... I mean, if your characters uses A, but would also look good with B, use it. For example I could just use some of Capcom's shading for Fei's pants, but I used Lee Pai Long as my model. Fei's face is also scratch done, something you should also do for Zangief.

maybe the pants (his left leg) seems too similar to a statue, can't explain better, sorry :P
his left arm is too long

There's not really a lot to do in his pants, but I understanding the arm problem. Will fix that soon, thanks.

I think the torso needs some slimming near his right (artist's left) as well.

His "overworked" torso is the man's signature. ;P I don't really thing I should tone it down. (If that's what you mean).

what are those two black pixels between the fingers? and there's a hole of one pixel in HIS right hand as well.

Can't see these 2 black pixels anywhere. :S Will try to fix the hole thing thought.

Well, tried a new, easier to do pose. Please, keep helping me to improve it.

Mine would be XI's with 98's R.E.D. Kick and 88 Shiki (misses way too often now).
Kyo XI feels just right: fast, combo-happy and has a throw LDM for mind games, but with rather useless DMs (outside combos, that is), what's a good thing for balance.
Can't really play with Ex Kyo without feeling cheap. ;P

Where that AOF guy is... the pants looks more likely to be Geese during his meditation win pose, and the raising storm seems to be Young Geese's.
Also, those Robert and Mr. Karate sprites are not convincing enough.

And there are great chances that the one near Rugal turns out to be Syo, let's wait and see.

Only useful for general mugen, as if you are making a full game you can just detect that p2 is in a projectile shoting animation and react based off that.

Still, to code a reaction against every character in the roster would be too much work, plus wouldn't be enough to counter moves like Ash's Thermidor... that's why I came out with this code.
But yes, the gold out of this thing is to use it for general mugen.

Or any AI which would just like to avoid/guard/parry/roll against the helper projectiles efficiently instead of missing half of the time and taking the projectile in its face.

Exactly. :)

Cool, it does works. Code updated.
I hope people start to make their projectiles compatible to this code.
