I know that the palette error is a myth, and that Ed Boon said that Error Macro was a macro created to catch errors. But the most known version is the palette error, because there were even videos (obviously fakes) with red-palette Scorpions. And whatever is the relationship of Ermac with MK1, OmegaPsycho's is custom, and Noob-Smoke could be custom too.

That makes sense.  I figured it was a rumor and one thing really jumped out at me: even if there was a palette issue, why would it change his name (the vids I've seen say ErMac, or something)? Haha!  Thanks for the info, Lord M.

OmegaPsycho, appreciate the characters man, I'm a fan!

Surprising, and surprisingly disappointing. Its just a clone of Scorpion with no Fatalities, it isn't even a tag team like Noob-Smoke actually was.

well yeah, what'd you think smoke and noob were actually like when they first showed up? it was pretty much exactly this

Well, he could have customized it, he did it with Ermac, and he only appeared in UMK3.

I'm sure that the whole "Ermac glitch" was an MK1 thing.  Correct me if I'm wrong.  Something about palettes failing to load.

Not sure about Smoke/Noob, though, but I'll take it anyway!

HAPPY GAMING! :bison:

Not gonna lie, been checking every few hours everyday in preparation for this (no life, right?)  Your MK characters brought me slowly back to MUGEN just as it was beginning to die down on my list of priorities.  Much appreciation for your efforts.

Either way, I dig this screenpack. Its low res and ain't nothing wrong with that...IMO :smug:
Heck yeah dude!  It is pretty sweet.  The opening video is very reminiscent of a screenpack (was the intro reused?) I had way back when, but I believe that it's a new screenpack.  I've pretty much had all of the CVS2 ones.  The animations are pretty smooth.  I like the transition into the vs screen and all of the others.  I kind of answered my own question earlier about the size.  After unzipping, there is a little under a gig worth of stages.  Sweet!  Hey, Woosha, I still make stages in 320x240, but I guess I'm just an old school kinda dude. Low res still kicks @$$. I can run the CVS3 screenpack on my PC, but I'd much rather have this one.  It feels legit old school!!!  I really like this screenpack, Gui0007.

Who cares?  It's not really stealing an idea because technically, if this is someone else' work, then they stole it too.  Are we seriously still doing this crap?  I haven't done any work yet for 1.1, but I'd imagine it's a bit of a b*tch to convert old stuff over to it.  Perhaps he did work really hard.

I haven't downloaded it yet to compare it to a similar screenpack I have (from way back when).  The files are pretty hefty, does this include stages as well?  Was the original this large?  I'm just curious as to what is in it.  I may just have to download to find out what all has been changed and whether or not it's for the better.

Seriously, how freaking hard is it just to add a black backdrop behind the stage?  It's a simple fix dude and a chance to add some knowledge to your stage creation, gjsboy.

March 5, 2013

I realized that my old release thread is pretty full so I figured I'd just start another one to stay clean.  I've been away for awhile, but I've gotten back into my MUGEN cycle and I'm working on some new stuff and working on the requests that I've pretty much neglected for the past year.  I'm on it guys!

SHADOWRUN MATRIX STAGE (Genesis)
March 5, 2013

http://www.mediafire.com/?1owkc7be8b9nwfj
If you've ever played this game, then you know how frustrating and rewarding Matrix runs can be.  This stage includes a small intro where the player flies towards the node.  The stage quickly reverts to the battle before the fight begins and there you are FIGHTING IN CYBERSPACE!!!  The stage itself is pretty much accurate except that it is widened.  I kept the lightning animations and the Node on the stage so that it doesn't feel so...bland.  Enjoy, please leave feedback, it's my first stage in forever and I may not be completely back into the swing of things.

Includes:
Intro
Animations

Gotta say, your laziest screenpack is actually better than the "Life's Work" of some other creators. It's really clean.  I like the select screen.

I have to agree with Saikoro, when I see a post marked EXShadow, I pretty much know I'm gonna get it.

Nice stage, it moves like water.  Everything feels right about it, color wise, detail wise.  Thanks for all of the contributions, man!

My 2 cents.

I like the concept.  Here's the reason why:

When ever I used to play Sonic, I always thought as the Sonic world being very small, with everything sort of interconnected.  So, having the Green Hill type area with the snow in the background is actually how I always thought of the Sonic worlds. I mean, he just kind of moved from area to area (especially in Sonic 3) with different types of weather and seasons.

I haven't played the stage yet,  but I do have a suggestion. Keep the rain, and remove the snow, or at least put the snow further into the background.  Other than that, I'm going to download it.  I'll try to give some real feedback if I have the time.
