Let's get this out of the way first, okay.  Don't call me son.  I've spent enough time with an M-16 in my hand in the Middle East to even be looked down on like that, but you know, let's not get into that. I never once belittled you as a person. Perhaps I did go a little too crazy back there, and if I offended you, forgive me.  Remember, though, I was talking about a Power Rangers character, not you.  Hey, no one OBLIGATED you to day anything, just remember, if he's for your fun, that's cool, I don't have to download him.  I mean, jeez, your exact words were this character is to be cheap, not fun, right?  And, since you decided to tell the world, and this IS a forum, I, as everyone else here is allowed to state my own opinion.  I'm just saying from experience, everyone hates cheap characters.  Again, I'm not here to fight with you, I do enough fighting as it is.  Make your character, make him cheap, love him, enjoy him, have fun with him, play the frickin' crap out of him, please, please, please.   :)
And for the record, I'M SO OVERREACTIVE, but
I'll love you forever, anyways. Thanks for the sprites.    ;)

Too bad there's a good chance that anyone who really cares about their MUGEN won't be adding your cheap character.  Where's the fun in that?  ZERO.  Even if someone did have it, they'd probably use it to spam the shit out of someone they can't beat or something, then, that's what the F1 button is for.  I agree with DarkFlare, a total waste of a character.  However, do whatever you want, just don't expect anyone to be interested.  I mean, make him hard, yes, but not cheap.  There is, in fact, a difference.   Isn't the idea to make it fun, not broken and completely unplayable.  It's frustrating that there are attitudes like that!!  Remember this, also, Ivan Ooze had a decent AI, he was beatable, that video only shows what it would be like if he constantly spammed his cheap ass moves over and over, which in fact, he did not.  Post a video of the computer controlling that character, it would be a lot different.  But, like you said, why bother, you're just gonna get pissed off at me even bringing this up.  Do what you will, but expect no following.

Mortal Kombat 3 Special 100 characters for the NES.
Master Fighter 2 for the NES.
Street Fighter 3? Mari Turbo for the NES.

Should bootlegs even count?  I mean, they are shitty from the beginning, right?

Shadow for 3do: 8bit games have better intro, the missing frames suck ALOT in digitalized-graphics,the same for SF the movie for PSX one but with stupid voices.
Pit Fighter, Mortal kombat for Super nes.
Another for 3do: way of the warrior.
for nes: many MK and SF pirate games.
You can found more info about Worst MK rip offs here:
http://www.toplessrobot.com/2009/06/the_11_worst_mortal_kombat_rip-offs.php
The worst, horrible and really bad  for me (from that top)are: Shadow, Way Of theWarrior,Time Killers and Survival arts.

Speaking of Mortal Kombat ripoffs, what about Tattoo Assassins?!
It was made by Data East, and thankfully, NEVER finished, however, you can play near complete roms if you want to check out this horrid pile of crap.  Also, I saw earlier, a post about War Gods.  I don't know why, but I used to play the crap out of that game.  I was younger then, and it's garbage now.  Anubis Wins!! lol!

I got to go and see Coheed & Cambria a couple of weeks ago.  It was a pretty good show.

I always seems to be a good show with those guys!  They speed their songs up insanely!  I love it!

I saw Iron Maiden Last Thursday.

It kinda sucked. It was a thursaday, and their fans are starting to age to the point where they can't move or something.

My friends and I were the hanging out with the weird 18 year olds who like them and were the most drunk people there.

To prove how lame this was, the last time I went to a rock concert I used to smoke large amounts of Pot, and I would share with the random people around me. I haven't smoked in for fucking ever almost a decade.

So this guy passes me this roach, I think what the fuck, so I take a hit. It wasn't Pot. It was some legal herbal shit that they sell at head shops. You know a concert sucks when even the weed is fake.

I caught them recently, thankfully, I don't do drugs, and had a very good time.   ;)  Bruce Dickinson is still the greatest performing vocalist ever!  IMO.

Eternal Champions.  Decent characters...that's about all the it has.  Horrid graphics, horrible/impossible controls, crappy story.

Let's see.
There's no point in having an 8 bit 9000,1 portrait, because you can't share palettes with that sprite, right?
And in 1.1, they removed support for 9000,0 being a shared pallate.

And I all I see in the future for 24/32 bit sprites for characters is portraits that haven't been screwed with due to color limit, and crazy as hell effects.

Of course, stages, will definitely benefit from this. No color limits equals even cooler stages.
Which renders RGB, Jigsawing, or whatever you guys did useless.

And if you can run OpenGL mode (requires OpenGL 2.0+), then stages will not lag at all.
I mean stages like Polar Metropolis which would take forever to load, and be slightly less than 60fps, now load extremely fast and is constantly 60fps.

It's that good.

Exactly!   ;D

Think of the paint app on your desktop.  It supports 24 bit of color.  It also has slots for custom colors, which are in fact, only deviations from the assigned "basic" colors and are, in fact, not even custom.  Surely, if the program allowed you to specifically "slot" the transparency color, it should be no problem, and since most of the pics used in Mugen are far less than 16 million colors, it also should not be hard to slot out, possibly, a few hundred (more) colors, since most video game (2d) at least characters use NOWHERE near 16 million, in fact, very few 3-d game chars use more than 500.  Solid Snake's MGS4 char model used 290, for example.  I don't think it'd be even possible to make one with such massive amounts of colors.  The portraits, on the other hand, it's possible if it's freaking HUGE, and I mean Terabytes, even when blending colors, a real life (as in not video game) photo usually contains less than or a little more than 800 colors.  There is NO need to map EVERY single color out to make a palette, it's common sense, use only the colors you need, just like you do now, except if you want to add more color to your creation, you have the ability to do so.   Imagine 250 more color slots, it would make a heck of a difference.  I'm sick of grainy portraits, and it wouldn't take a heck of a lot more color slots to alleviate the problem.

Also, old school is fine, I love old school, but forward progress is also essential.

I've been following Mugen 1.1 since the beta testers started posting news up on it.  Just a quick question, what program would be handling sprites now, since Fighter Factory and FF Ultimate only have 256 color blocks.  Will there be a new program to accommodate 32 bits of color?
