Although if that is the case, that's an awful lot of characters to add to the console-exclusive version.  If so, I'm tipping a very quick release of Super Street Fighter 4 for arcades.

Not a fan.  Housemate got this for his 360, and he seemed to be enjoying himself, but the game looked like Devil May Cry: The MMO.  Animation was clunky, controls looked awkward, horrible camera, and while the level and enemy design is off the hook, something really irked me about the human characters, especially their faces.

One thing did catch my ear though.  Freya's voice is very familiar for some reason; I think it's Debi Mae West, but I can't be sure.  Anyone know her voice actor?

I can mimic voices.  Give me a character, and ten minutes later you won't be able to tell the difference.  That is, when I'm not laid up with a throat infection.

Now what, indeed?  It's only happening in Europe and America, and let's face it, Final Fantasy has a bigger market in Japan.  Square Enix get to earn a little extra, while minimizing the damage to any relationship they want to maintain with Sony.  I don't think this will affect the PS3 as much as people think.

Besides, multi platform <> 360 exclusive.  I'm planning on buying a PS3 for a whole range of games other than FF13, and I'll be buying the PS3 versions of DMC4, GTA4 and any cross-platform titles that catch my eye, maybe even this.

Most of my dream CVS-sprited characters have already been mentioned here: C.Viper (top work, Lo Llop), Clark, Mature, K', Kula, Ibuki (that's a gimme), Leona, Dudley, Urien, Arceuid, Ciel, Akiha, Shiki, Yoshimitsu.  On top of those, I'd add Vanessa, the original MK ninjas and Raiden (thunder god, not beefcake wrestler, not Jack the ninja).

As for CvS characters?  I couldn't care one way or the other.  I like Warusaki's work, I like PotS' work, and if a creator's characters look and play well, I like their work too.

I'm sorry?  Gouki killing Gouken right in front of Ken was a crux of the plot in the Alpha games.

Tiamat's Plot Guide, Ken's Section said:
Ken did NOT participate in the first Street Fighter 1 tournament.  Instead, he went off to fight in the US Martial Arts tournament and became champion, there, as well as met his girlfriend, Eliza.  He got back to his master Gouken's dojo just in time to see Gouken get killed by Gouki [Official].

It doesn't mention anything about Ken being anywhere near Gouki and Gen's fight.

The other game didnt allowed you to see you could use chars movesets from the get go, this one probably wont show you any original movesets you can use unless you win them.
You might have a point there, especially considering a few of them were legacy styles (Chinese Sword - Hwang, Nunchaku - Li Long, etc.)

Looks like they've flat out ditched the original movelists in favour of Soul Of movesets only.
Voldo's SC2 third costume as creator parts?  Hell yeah.
Definitely looks like a lot more freedom with colours.  What new parts they have revealed (eg. wolfman, eagleman heads, new armor sets) look awesome as well.
Got to laugh at the Hayabusa knockoff they're parading around, though.
