I don't know if you're trying to reitirate your point (which is wrong) or if you're exclaiming "MY POINT" in dismay (which is infinitely more hilarious).

Also game looks like SHIT. $10 for that piece of shit. Gone Home offered my gameplay and that isn't even a game.

I remember buying a fish at my pet store with my cousin. She could only afford a goldfish, but I saved up and bought this really awesome fish with blue stripes and shit. I put mine in my dad's fishtank, played vidya games with my cousin, then went to bed early. The next day I found my fish lying dead on the floor. I found out my cousin, in her jealousy, pulled my fish out of the tank and let it suffocate.

Also, you bring up good points VERY often, and you're a valuable contributor to most discussions you're involved in, in terms of analysis and clarity, but your constant aggression really detracts from people putting the proper value on you. Take that as you will, but you could use slightly less insults all around man.
I am soaking in the irony.

Badlands

Holly is a 15-year-old highschooler in South Dakota whose mother died. She lives alone with her dad and dog. Kit is a 25-year-old greaser who can't hold a job. He hates it when people litter. They fall in love, and Kit wants Holly to run away with him. As they trek across South Dakota and head to Montana, their relationship is put through trials and tribulations to see how much they truly love each other. Oh yeah and a lot of people get killed in the process because these characters are loosely based on Charles Starkweather and his girlfriend who went on a killing spree in 1958.

It's really hard to mix a crime movie with a coming of age romance story, but somehow Badlands really pulls it off. Martin Sheen's Kit is both charming and psychotic, often yo-yo'ing between the two. One minute he's prince charming for Holly, the next minute he's shooting people that are even suspected of betraying him, and part of the tension is wondering who's going to get shot next. I also love how Holly's voiceover frames the movie, with her commenting on even minute details that would normally seem meaningless. Usually I dislike narrators, but she manages to add dimension to the scenes and make the experience even more whole. It's also really hard to see her innocence slowly corrode as she watches people getting killed and start wondering if she should really be with Kit.

If there was a downside to this movie, it would be that Holly's acting is a little... well, off. On one hand, I can see that she's supposed to be mostly innocent and not grasping the full consequences of what's going on, but at the same time, I feel that she under-reacts to a lot of really messed up shit!

Definitely recommended. It's a love story for people who are sick of romantic movies.

8/10

- Girls or Women?
- What would you do if you were suddenly accosted by KILLALLNERDS.EXE?
-What is the best road trip movie?
- Did you attend Las Pegasus Unicon? Either way, explain your thoughts and how it affected the Brony fandom.

So far, no, it was just a test for MUGEN 1.0 and animating RGB-separated objects. Color-loss is pretty noticeable though, so if I'm super into this concept, I might... (cough)... upgrade to MUGEN 1.1.

Also the rips from the game are at a really awkward resolution so the only way to make them look kind of okay is to either run them in widescreen mode (barf) or resize the graphics (which I did here)

-"Jack, turn the iPod off right now."
-Off the top of my head, there are at least two other whiny protagonists besides Francis that can get on people's nerves.
Between Chaz Tenenbaum, M. Gustave H, and Max Fischer, rank them all in the order of whiniest protagonist based on:
*Justification for whining
*How much said character deserves the label
*Anything else you can think of

-You have been given the chance to go back in time and fix The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou.  Anderson decides to keep the same cast as the previous three movies.  With that in mind..
*What stable members would you add/remove?
*Anderson decides to bring back Luke Wilson and puts you in charge of the wardrobe and mise en scene.
What are some challenges you have in mind?
*You get to pick a David Bowie song for the credits.  What would you choose?
*Anne-Marie (the crewmember who's always topless).  Minor comic relief again or left as is?
*Would the final goal of The Jaguar Shark be to turn everyone into its dinner?
*Instead of the red beanies, give your explanation why everyone has deep trust issues, etc.

-Do you plan on finding your significant other or are you forever infatuated with Suzy Bishop?

Most of my favorite songs wouldn't work as theme songs, so I guess this will do.

Those aren't insults though (although those are stupid things people do, which I actually mentioned in this very thread). If it was an insult, it would be, for example, calling out someone's personal character in a release thread, or telling him to go kill himself because of the shitty character he made.

Even if your examples are stupid posts, those aren't "insults" per se.

There's a Criterion sale at Barnes & Noble, so I picked up:

Eraserhead

Plot? HAH.

This time I'm going to start off the review with the negatives. There is a lot of downtime. A LOT. Seriously, for every batshit crazy thing that happens in this movie, there's a lot of Henry just staring around looking surprised or scared. Or there's an establishing shot. Or there's just shots of the camera panning around and nothing happening. It's a shame because when things go nuts, it's beautiful, but most of the time... you're just waiting for something to happen.

So what saves this movie? A few things. First of all, like I said, the visuals are pretty darn impressive! The baby has to take the award for creepiest thing on film. Looking at screenshots of it doesn't do it justice, watching it in motion is beautiful (?) and it really does make you wonder how the damn thing was constructed. The other honorable mention of course has to go to the dinner scene, aside from the token "chicken cutting" scene, there's a lot of other bizarre happenings going down that just need to be seen in motion to fully appreciate.

Maybe I'm the wrong audience for this movie, but yeah, I felt like a lot of it dragged, but whenever the surrealism kicked in... WOW.

7/10

That sounds almost as convoluted as turning your DS upside down to feed your Lickitung a Rare Candy.

IIRC it sometimes works because button presses affect the RNG that's tied into everything, including whether or not you catch a Pokemon. You might want to get that verified by someone who actually knows what they're talking about, though.

Personally I enjoyed Saya no Uta and thought it showed off the potential VN's have outside of all the "AM I KAWAII, UGUU~" ones that flood the market. The second bad end is ridiculously well-written (the one where Ryoko helps Koji take on Saya) since it takes a bunch of emotions and conflicts that were bubbling over previously and brings it all to the forefront in an ending that basically proves that nobody is really the hero of the story.

I can see where people take issue with it, though, so proceed with caution.

why are you comparing me to someone who gets mad just caz people aren't making him what he wants for free? when I want someone to make me something I expect myself to be able to give them something in return
That... has nothing to do with your initial complaint about creators getting insulted.

im also talking on behalf of other authors
You do know that the MUGEN Spokesperson thing we established a few years ago was an April Fool's joke, right?

what if I don't have the talent to code or do draw the sprites ? learning these doesn't seems like its even worth it
So why are you posting in a thread about *your* personal reasons that *you* can't finish your character?
