Fate/Prism Illiya 2 didn't disappoint
-Synchronized magical girl transformations.
-Lots of yuri.
-Dat discreet Luvia butt touch.
-Dark Skin Illiya.
Looks promising.

Started watching GTO 2012. I don't generally like watching live action dramas ,but the 1st episode managed to keep my interest for now. This adaption managed to maintain the essence of the manga while sidestepping much of the gross and mean spirited stuff that happened. I guess none of that stuff would work in L/A ,but no delinquent dumping makes me sad.

I'm being cautious with akame ga kill. Did not like the first episode, but as E says, it seems popular enough to spike my curiosity.

Aldnoah.zero seems promising ,but it could go either way at this point. Production quality is neato.

Apart from that, no real stand outs. This is definitely a Summer season.

So the Stardust Crusader dub debuted today, and I watched the first episode. It's a damn good one too. All the VAs fit nicely and did a decent job. I can't believe doubted that Epcar could have done a good Joseph, tsk tsk. No English accents though ( not like it was needed). The only thing that bothered me was the "Jotoro" pronunciation, but w/e.

thanks. I might hang on to that if I ever decide to do another playthrough. there aren't all that many JA clones out there and while I have some problems with this one, it's a blast.

I always wanted to try making melee attackers in that game, but I was too much of a pussy to try. I always went with snipers and machine gunners. And yeah, the AI is pretty slow to attack, even more so in Sentinels. Those are some cool looking texture and costume mods.

Well Sailor Moon was a pretty popular franchise back in the day, so maybe that comparison isn't too off the mark. Shoujo Jojo?

So how 'bout that Sailor Moon Crystal. Admittedly, I'm no super fan. I definitely saw some of the show in the Toonami days, but that's it. The show looked pretty solid animation-wise apart from their decision to use 3D for the transformation sequence (hyuk). I'm nor sure how it stacks up to the original anime or manga storywise (not that it matters much to me), but it looks competent as far as I can tell. Having to wait two weeks for every episode is a stinker though.

Ninja Slayer comes out in 2015 and  Akira Amemiya (of Inferno Cop fame) will be the director. I was hoping for a Fall release for this instead of "Inou Battle With Everyday Life" ,but I'll take what I can get.

Lost 2/3rds of my mercs in the final battle, but getting to unload a full clip into that traitor at the end was so damn worth it.

So HunterXHunter's chimera Ant arch is finally done and I enjoyed for much of its run, albeit this arch was definitely longer and more grueling than I expected it to be. That's not to say it's padded with miscellaneous nonsense, but filled with numerous plot lines all running simultaneously and all are treated with care. The fights were cool fo'sho ,yet most of my enjoyment came from the way all of the characters developed throughout the course of the story (protagonist and antagonist alike). They all started out as two dimensional and straight forward to me at the beginning ,however the challenges that arised as the story edged closer to its conclusion changed them (tragically or triumphantly) into more sophisticated characters. It does feel like the author definitely gave a damn about everyone in the story, and I like that.
Time for some unpleasant news. I didn't think there was anything more to adapt for this.
