The fact that there is a whole page worth of useless crap is partially my fault. And I apologize.

So, I'm going to TRY to give a thorough analysis of the beta

  • You're going to need CLSN2's over CLSN's so they don't have infinite priority on other characters
  • Crouching attacks have a small frame animation where he jumps to floating and then back to the crouching pose
  • Hadouken sprites look bad
  • All projectiles need to be hittable by other projectiles
  • Medium Punch Hadouken is small and all 3 balls won't hit the opponent
  • Hit sparks for Hadoukens don't match
  • Fix some CLSN's in general. They are either out of place. You also seem to be getting the idea that some kiccks also have elbows that damage them as well. That's a no-no
  • Debug message after every Hadouken that states
    "E 106:
    Changed to invalid action 478176: Warning: Player Psychotic Ryu (32) in stat"
  • Light Kick Hadouken's sprite is blinking on and off why?
  • I don't get D,DB,B + Light Kick's attack
  • Mentioned the thing about projectiles must be hittable by other projectiles
  • Heavy Kick Hadouken fires himself? LOL
  • Something is REALLY wrong with D,DB,B + Heavy Kick. It doesn't do damage. It blinks on and off while staying there. And it's only useful if you punch someone while they are in it, causing an infinite bashing of attacks. Wow
  • Sound doens't match some attacks
  • If you're "jumping" and let out an attack, it will stay in that attack until he "lands"
  • Knockdown sprites don't match. Or get-up

I actually reponded more than once. :P But the thing is all I'm seeing is your doing a shitty job because those arent your sprites and screw them nubs, use the sprites if you want and none of this is really helping at all so I've just decided to go about improving the character the best I can by myself. There has been a couple of helpful post, but for the most part this has turned into a debate over the same old shit and I don't care to debate it. The war at this forum is over, they've decided the victors.

You  guys say its horrible yet you fail to leave any comments that would enable me to improve the work.  When I asked for feedback I was hoping for some informative information that would allow me to make a character that the community appreciates.

To fight him only one round, after you beat him and it goes to round 2, press F1.

I don't know about the whole making c be your jump button but for the other half you could probably use a
[State#, Changestate]             ;Make that number the state you in.
type = ChangeState
trigger1 = AnimTime = 0
value = #                                ;Make this number the state you want to change to
ctrl = 1                                   ;If you want the player to get control of the character set to 1 if you don't want them to have control set to 0

although I'm newer to making characters so don't rely on anything I say.

Well then I guess your gonna hate me because for all my characters I make they are goign to be edits made with other peoples sprites seeing as I don't know how to rip sprites and don't have the time to.  I guess there are gonna be those who like what I do and those that don't.  But then again you don't have to download my stuff if you don't like what I do.

Anyways when I asked for feedback I don't see how that has anything to do with whos stuff it is as it doesn't effect the character and how well or poorly its comming along or anything.

If you have fighter factory, its pretty easy, but you would have to get that prgram first, google it.


1. Anyways, once you have the program and have made a back up of your data folder , go to sprites and open up the system.sff of the screenpack that you want the select screen from.

2. Then find the select screen image, I believe it will be group 100, image 0, save it as a pcx by clicking the disk with the letters pcx over it. (Note the X and Y axis)

3. Next go to sprites at the top and open up the system.sff of the screenpack you want to implement it on.  Find the select screen and delet it (Note the group and the image number). Now Click Add (its the white square with the letters pcx over it).  Set the group and image to that of the select screen you just deleted and set the X and Y axis to that of the select screen you are bringing in noted in step 2.

4. Click Ok, then save the system.sff. Then bring over the select file from the screen select that you just implemented.  And that should be the end of that.

EDIT: Also bring over the system.def file from the screen pack that you added the select screen from or your character select boxes will be all messed up.

How do I mak I projectile go down and forward at the same time for air projectiles?

I tryed

yaccel, yvelocity, and fall.yvelocity but none of them work for making the porjectile move down.

Assassins Creed was fun, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.  Right now I'm looking into getting the new Turok.  Nevermind that, just looked at the reviews and it says the game is pretty bad.

I'm pretty sure you can make any charcter unselectable by a human, just put him in the select file where his charcter selection box would be offscreen and no one can reach, then give him an order and ther you go.

Now if your lookign to edit his code and make him unplayable thats a different story.
