OK, I can play Local HD content with no problems but when it comes to watching external content
example: YouTube if i switch to a higher resolution like let's say 720p it starts skipping.

Is there any*
 - Setting
 - Specific Configuration
 - or Add -On... anything
*hat would help me improve the frame-rate when watching HD content in the web.

Firefox Only user.      thanks in advance

Suggestions would be nice.
I was bored so i did this.. if you use cool if you don't worry it's cool too, i had fun doing it anyways. ok, so...

I used one of your 640x480 screenshots to crop out the 178x128 Stage thumbnail
then timed it by 62 for all ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZabcdefghijklmnopqrstuvw xyz0123456789
I ended up with a 11,036x128 canvas then i added 62 pink slots divided by 61 green lines 1 pixel wide each.

wow guys, thanks.

I would not delete any of those; what are you running, xp ?
Windows XP Service Pack 2 -> Upgraded to Service Pack 3

Everything there seems to be fine.
Are you suspecting of virus or something like that?
Not really am just doing some cleaning.

What's highlighted looks to me like important stuff for the OS to run properly.
MSO looks like the computer's registry data, which you should leave alone unless you're sure you know what you're doing.
Thanks, i wont mess with that then.

$RECYCLE.BIN: a shortcut to your own recycler folder
Boot: I don't remember, but I don't think it was important
Config.Msi: some old installation files. You probably don't need them (but you may not be able to delete them)
found.000: files that were recovered during CHKDSK (check disk)
found.001: files that were recovered the second time (btw, you're likely missing some files somewhere, because chkdsk deletes them without notice  ;P)
RECYCLER: contains recycle bin folders for everyone
System Recovery: just some files windows would check incase your os crashes or have some other problem, and needs help repairing
System Volume Information: stores some folders and files telling windows about your harddrive, you can't touch it anyway.

aaw7boot: never saw it
AUTOEXEC: IDK
boot: this is just your text settings for what you see when "windows" start. You can change it, but only do so if you know what you're doing.
BOOT.BAK: this is a backup for incase you're stupid enough to mess with boot*.ini* and can't startup windows again  ::).
BOOT.BKK: IDK
bootmgr: I thought this was windows vista's boot.ini, but idk.
BOOTSECT.BAK: IDK
config: a windows' system file
CONFIG: i don't know what this one is
hiberfil: a backup cache for hibernation. This file should be like 1.5gb, and it allows you to enter hibernation (it's basically turning off the pc, and allowing you to load back every window you had open when you turn the pc back on)
IO: system
MSDOS: system
NTDETECT: IDK
ntldr: this is a required system file, without which you wouldn't be able to start windows anywhere past an error about it being missing
pagefile: this is your virtual ram. by default, windows set it to like 50%-150% of your system's physical ram.
USER: this is telling windows who's logged on right now

Basically, all of the files should be left alone.  If you really wanted to delete any of them, because you want space or just don't like clutter or something, then you can try your luck with "[the folders in RECYCLER (they'll recreate themselves), found.000, found.001, Not Needed, temp, xp3tools, aaw7boot, AUTOEXEC"
If you want to delete hiberfil, then go to the power options and somewhere in there would be the option to disable system hibernation.
If you want to reduce the size of pagefile, then go to system properties>>advanced, under Performance click Settings>>advanced>>Change virtual memory

DISCLAIMER NOTE: I am not a professional and while some of those files are probably useless, I can not guarantee any safety for you upon renaming/moving/deleting any of them without a full understanding of the files and what they do. I can however assure you that most of those files are windows' and they present no more problems than disc usage.
Your post was a massive help, Thanks very much.

Edtion got most right. I'll answer the ones he didn't:

aaw7boot: It seems to be created by Ad Aware for its boot cleaning utility.
BOOT.BKK: Another backup.
bootmgr: Boot manager file. Important.
BOOTSECT.BAK: Backup.
CONFIG: Important system file.
NTDETECT: Important system file.
MSOCache: Folder for Microsoft Office, mostly contains temporary files.

NONE of those files are trash.
Thanks, nice to know what those are.

AUTOEXEC.BAT was a necessary part of the msdos subsystem and should not be deleted.  Edit it and you'll see it's a dummy file.
Since MSDos isn't actually supported by windows anymore, they were at least kind enough to make sure certain DLLs still function the same.
I never knew that, thanks.

i like what you did there...for the name of the player 2, you could always just put the names in the lifebar for the 2 vs 2 / 3 vs 3 / 4 vs 4? just a thought
I think putting the SIMUL names inside the lifebars is a great idea but what kind of font do you know would look and fit there nicely?
the one am using in the other modes is too big and overlaps the lifebars too much.

3. Mugen 1.0 doesn't support 32bit
4. Images using antialiasing may require 32bit support from Mugen (correct me if am wrong)
5. I have draw all the images to fit with each other in 640x480 so adding that red line in the middle would require editing like 20% of the hud sprites plus some coding.
6. if you link me to a tutorial on how to use (antialiased?) images in Mugen i may consider it in the future.
I think you have misundertood what I said, I meant something a lot simpler. You're talking image format lingo, while I'm talking spriting terms.

Your white outlines looked heavily pixelated and clunky, I antialiased (In response to your Point #6 - refined) them a little bit so they'd look less blocky. Please have a closer look at the sprite, zoom in at around 400 or 600% so you can see what I did with some colors other than white  - That's what I referred to as antialiasing.

Also, it's not about me liking many lines or not, it's about making it look like in the game. The way it was, it resembled the SF4 Lifebar, but by design definition it wasn't.
Like i said before am learning new things as i go that's why i asked about the antialiasing stuff, am by no means a pro designer or anything.
and please keep in mind this is a sf4 inspired project not a sf4 exact remake that i plan on doing later down the line.
thanks for your tip, am really interested on it ill see if i can take advantage of the antialiasing in my future projects.

Quote
3rd choice would be straying 1 pixel away from "Accuracy" and making it actually look good, like in the game. I hope you don't mind, I edited the 5th line in there, and added a little antialiasing on the white outline so it doesn't look so pixelated. I only took the time because I believe your work in this project is very promising, and not because I want to step on your toes or anything.

1. lol, at your kof avatar
2. I don't mind you editing some of my stuff to show me ideas

7. Whenever i decide to make the 1280x720 version of the lifebars ill make sure to put lots of lines just for you =)
8. Thanks for the tip

Ok, before i give up on the iphone idea which after thinking about it actually a good one... is this style any better?
 - Like i said before with this style the teammates' names will not be display.
 - I think the SUPER! text overlapping the timer a little bit makes it look kind of cool.

The first thing that went into my mind was this; "No."

The super bars feel like they're just... in there. If you're going to make them stay there, I suggest you modify the shape of it to fit it in to the lifebar. If that doesn't work, put it at the bottom; the super bars, after all, are at the bottom of the screen in SFxT. I mean, of course the iPod version of Street Fighter IV had the super bars like this, but it also filled it up with the Ultra gauges. Since you're not going for the iPod version, I recommend putting it down.

You could keep the victory counts under the health bar. They're fine like that anyways.

Thanks for your post, that's exactly what i was looking for. i see and understand what you have mentioned.
Am going to work on a different prototype.

Am going to draw completely new ones instead of reusing these.

OK, I need you guys to give me some feedback on this.
Am not too sure on where to position some of the things.

Let me know what you guys think and am open for suggestions.

 - the fake Ultra gauges
 - the Ultra gauges' flames
 - teammate's name in SIMUL mode
