I had to remake the Main Menu entirely from scratch to implement new things and some old stuff using different methods.
 - tweaked text, is way clear now
 - changed the black outline method for a more clear one
 - added back the dark areas that go behind the text

This is a completely separate thing from the main project.
The lifebars will be release as soon as they are ready and polished.
I been thinking about this for a while now so here it is.
If i get a positive response out of this i will make a new thread exclusively for this instead.
I would like to Include a maximum of 100 Community Generated Custom Tittles.
These are only going to be visible under Single and may be turn Modes.
Am have not decided in where to position them  yet.
If In top of the 'Player 1' text = Visible Only on Single Modes
If closer to the timer = Visible on Single and turn Modes.

My little Custom Tittle


In game


The rules are simple.
1.Whatever you do stay inside the green frame.
2.Respect the layer 'BIG frame' when designing the Tittle's background.
3.Use any Font and size [Respecting the green frame]
4.Use any Icon or Portrait any size [Respecting the green frame]
5.The white frames can bee CHANGED to any color.
6. - IMPORTANT - Proper use of the Color 255.
7. - IMPORTANT - Nothing that requires 'Trans' = sub, add or add1.
8. - IMPORTANT - No 'copy/pastings' from the real games. modified versions of the ones on the games are allowed.
9. - IMPORTANT - In the 'View' menu select 'Actual Pixels' before creating the pcx to make sure your Tittle is clear and the text is readable.

Here is some progress adding the Ultra Gauge to the superbar.
Ill save the requested stuff for a latter video.

it's looking better and better i wanted to see that power bar... with the fire and everything.... but isn't it supposed to appear in level 3??

'Fight.def' doesn't support triggers. there is really nothing i can do about that, sorry,

Would it be possible to have a version of the lifebars with the powerbar right under the lifebar, like in the iphone version of the game?

Would be nice for the chars with custom powerbar.
Sorry, how the hell did i missed that. xD

Good Idea, consider it DONE, Ill make sure to include the necessary files for people to choose between the 2 = Top or Bottom.

I like the way this is turning out so far. I'm assuming that this will use custom portraits for the select screen and possibly the lifebars, am I right?

Other than that, keep up the good work. This may just replace JZ's overused MFJ screenpack when you're done. :)

You can use custom portraits for both if you want but it's not required really at this point.

I just want to say 2 things.

Aren't the red lines in the yellow bars supposed to be all at the same distance from each other?

The lifebars in the Street Fighter IV games were design in 1280x720 resolution that's why some sacrifices have to be made for them to look clear in a 640x480 environment. That's why but wait! Let me give you a little inside.
Since they are being recreated 2 times smaller than the original resolution while i was redrawing the sprites i encountered an issue that forced me to choose between 2 options if i wanted to keep in the right proportion in terms of size and distance.
A - 3 red lines with 2 gaps at the top and bottom
B - 4 red lines with 1 gap in the middle
No 3rd choice <-- This is the sacrifice.

I already coded different versions of the lifebars that will cover all these issues.
what you are asking for is already there don't worry.
Im trying to give the end user choices since a lot of people have a different idea of what accuracy is.

very nice

a thought: maybe you could use the same color scheme for the "round" sprite: right now it doesn't look consistant with the "fight" sprite (maybe you are working on that though :) )
Am using the same color scheme as game. The fight animation doesn't have the Ink splash, may that be what's causing that illusion?
Also the videos are around 29 FPS and most of the animations am making take advantage of the 60 ticks, a lot of animation frames are not being displayed on the videos.
There will be updates after release that are going to take care of most animations here and there.

Eventually I will take care of what you have mentions after a public release as an update.

I am hoping if you could that each time you enter the vs screen the announcer says something different.
I don't know how to set mugen to play random mp3 files or if it's even possible.

and fight rounds also during the fight he says something if do a combo example (we be expecting fireworks) just like ssf4.  :)
This has to be coded into the character itself, nothing i can do about that. sorry
