Yes, won't be the best, some characters will be headless (blackheart for eg)

Read through KFM's mountain stage or stage0.def. They at least tell you what all the lines do.

As for things not appearing, it's probably just an alignment issue. This is where tweak and try comes in. I haven't downloaded your stage as i'm unwilling to bugcheck it if it's those 2 issues.

I do wish you'd stop saying things like that.

Just say there isn't one. Or time and effort. Either is more productive than making him ask the obvious question he has.

This is just me griping. I get the humour but i don't believe it has a place within this specific forum.

I have a feeling there's gonna be something horrible in this somewhere that will REALLY need a bug patch, please don't find it if you can help it.

Err lets see. All sounds are munchkin like to enhance the feeling of playing with a small character.

Dizzy, guardcrush, both in. Collapse anim is in. Supers are Power Geyser, High Angle Geyser, buster wolf and power stream.

Please don't treat him too seriously. He's not meant to be serious. Damages from garou, power use from garou, velocities off the top of my head because if i used garous it wouldn't look right.

Oh that'll do, i can't think of anything else i should be explaining away anyway.

Download, as per normal at my site http://www.mugenguild.net/~cyanide

Honestly? This doesn't work.

Anyone who's ever become good has used the resources available and learned themselves. Not only that there are WAY more resources now than there were when most of us were learning.

You won't learn much if you get your hand held all the way through. It's better to dive right in and start and ask questions when you get badly stuck.

And by badly i mean, it doesn't work on try 8 and you haven't got any closer to the right answer. Please stick with palletes. You only need to know how to do it once so you may as well work it out on your own.

You don't want walk jump or crouch?

Ok, your best bet would be having him actually cancel out of the default stand state and putting him in something else that has ctrl = 0

Use ctrl || var(trans) in your cmd to specify the moves.

Cancelling walk, crouch, jump is always a bit messy.

Tell me sir. Did you try and work this out yet? As in checked all the reasons and the documentation as to why the transparency might not be showing up. Somehow i doubt it.

Go check some more. You seem serious enough about coding but if people spend all their time giving you answers you aren't going to learn to bug check anything and you'll always be asking questions.

Try more to work it out please. The fix should be simple and staring you in the face.

Well i've got a pretty crappy sound card but, there's very little difference between 44000mhz and 22000mhz on the stereo setting but it cuts your sound file size in half.

Increases and decreases in volume seem to do nothing to the size.

If you use fighter factory's function it'll resample all your sounds. Not just 1.

You shouldn't use ifelse on a stance. Has a couple of things in the trigger than can cause a basic change to stuff up if you don't change them as well.

most notably anim != 0, you need to bypass that properly.

Otherwise, yes palno is what you're after.

Yep here it is

Make your sprite twice the size of a normal mugen character.
Edit it till it looks good

Thats it.

and this

i can have a completely coded char in a few days. if i have to put em in im not sure how long i will take, i havnt done that yet(hence why im making ronald)
don't match up.

Most people start their first character learning how to do the sff. It's in fact kinda neccessary to know that if you're going to be a good coder. fast != good either btw.

Good luck in your projects but you should perhaps not exaggerate.

You shouldn't have to code walk. Walk is included as part of the common1.cns file. In your .def you should have stcommon = common1.cns, if you don't, make sure you do.

Well, if you look them up in both the fight.def where it has the values the game uses, then check out fight.snd in something like Fighter Factory you can see if there's anything missing that you didn't know about.

Got power stream looking right finally

Damage and give/getpower values extracted from Garou except for the moves he doesn't have (high angle geyser for eg) taken those from 2k2.

Velocities are made up cos he's small.

Intro, done, winpose done. Guard crush and dizzy done. All sparks and crap sorted out. Need to make some act files. 5 more sounds to apply the munchkin effect to. Then i'll probably be releasing.

Oddly enough, no. I suppose people figure that it's in front of you and needs no documentation. Perhaps that's something to think about.

Oh good grief.

No, this is really simple. I'm going to give you some information and let you work it out.

Why does the dash back go backwards? What's in that statedef that looks like it does that.

Now how would you take that information, change it to forwards momentum and put it in the dash forward state.

Thats all you're getting.

I never had this sort of issue when i started, why are there so many of these coming up..... grumble mutter mumble

Lemme guess. You've found a small quantity of edits and managed to get a few moves out of them. Rip the rest of pocket kens sprites and edit them. It's mostly colour swapping anyway.

Both super gem fighter and puzzle fighter have the style you're using.
