OK, try it now and tell me what you think. I just had to add a single line of code I (stupidly) left out... grrr, how do these things keep slippin' by me!?

Thanks ziltama!

I meant to say proper lights off fx.  The fighters should turn dark as well.

I gotcha. ;) Yeah, I agree the fighters should darken too. Fixing now! (will post when it's ready)

Just missing the lights off fx.  That could be done by using trans=sub and layerno=1.

Could you please clarify "lights off fx"? I thought I already implemented the darkening strobe effect with a trans=sub and layerno=1.... or am I missing something else here? (Or maybe I broke something before release... I'm gonna check it out)

Edit: I think I know what you mean now. Yes, I already have the darkening strobe, but apparently it isn't quite dark enough. (That'll happen when you're trying to match colors between two different monitors with two totally different gamma rates...) Expect a more accurate darkening strobe in the next version, when I introduce more fixes to some problems...

Thank you, One of my friends has been bugging me like crazy to find a disco stage.

My pleasure. :)

I'm also known as UraBahn or Eep386, depending on the forum. I am interested in old computers and MUGEN. I also, once in a blue moon, like to draw stuff, as well as write poorly-coded crap in FreeBASIC. (Easy on me, ye C++/C# gods...) You can see my stuff on my site at http://www.eternal-anomaly.com/urabahn. In case anyone's wondering why my site is so skimpy-looking, it's because I coded it entirely from scratch by hand, and I was _really_ pressed for time.

My involvement in M.U.G.E.N is mainly converting stages from older games. I used to be a "player", but one day I had a change of heart, and the rest is history. I try my absolute best to make the most complete and accurate conversions from whatever game I'm working with, right down to the most minute of details. All my stages are coded from a blank template. I used to really rely on MCM's .AIR animation facilities for the animation details, but nowadays I find just entering in the animation data by hand more expedient. (Well, in most cases anyway.)

[boring]
In case anybody cares to know, I use an ancient Cyrix 6x86 running Genecyst vx.xx for my Genesis stage-making work. DOS games are, predictably, handled via DOSBox (and the PrtScn key) on my aging but still highly useful P4. My latest stages are made using The GIMP, MCM, SffExtract/SprMaker, and JGSoft's Editpad. My audio editing utilities are Windows Recorder and Audacity, complete with a really old build of LAME for MP3 compression and Audacity's built in Ogg Vorbis CODEC. My favorite packer is Ken Silverman's KZip, which really packs a ZIP file down to the last byte. (And, unlike other packers, it works with anyone's unzip utility.)
[/boring]

Alright, I think I wasted enough of everyone's time, so I'll close it here by saying that I am honored to be a member of the Guild and of the M.U.G.E.N. community.

Update: I fixed a very silly bug in the lights-out strobo which somehow slipped by me earlier, the fighters should properly dim out now. Please re-download!

Hello everybody, long time no stage ;)

All I've got to offer y'all at the moment is a completely-reworked, much less sucky version of my old Disco stage from Bare Knuckle 3. It should be quite accurate now, but I do plan on tweaking some things up a bit more later.

Get it at my shambles of a site: http://www.eternal-anomaly.com/urabahn

Enjoy... and please leave comments if you like.

(This topic was moved here at Cybaster's request. Mea culpa...)

Hey all,

Though I've still got a long ways to go with uploading all the files and stuff lost in the Great GeoCities Meltdown of April 27, I'm pleased to announce the "grand" re-opening of my website at:

http://www.eternal-anomaly.com/urabahn

Yes, I know the site looks very primitive, and alot of my older stuff is still missing, but hey, at least the bandwidth issues are no more! (Hallelujah!)

Many thanks to Mature4evr for the awesome hosting.
