I doubt the engine was ever designed to render outside of the 60fps target. Adjusting GameSpeed in mugen.cfg seems to do nothing but adjust the speed in relation to that 60fps average, probably frame-skipping or holding frames to achieve the correct result.

Even if it were then we get into the issue of having a monitor that will actually display over 60hz (75hz if you're lucky) unless you specifically went out and bought a 120hz monitor to see a benefit in animation clarity.

That those sounds, at some point, would've been in the ROM is unsurprising. It is a newly recorded sound, though.

Hyper Fighting owes itself to Capcom's US branch playing Rainbow and getting the arcade team to begrudgingly make the game faster and add new things.

DLC has to still be certified by console manufacturers first before it can be made available.

i dont know how ssb4 compares to brawl graphically but it may well be possible to get both ice climbers with a reasonable amount of detail without them looking too out of place. in SSBB at least the Ice Climbers are lower-poly than most everyone else except Pokemon Trainer and Olimar already

The SSF2T HD Remix soundtrack is a mixture of songs adapted from the OCRemix's SF2 album 'Blood on the Asphalt' and some new tracks made by OCRemix members to replace the slightly more unsuitable themes and fill in for stuff like ending/intermission music.

i like the PC CD soundtrack more though

I dunno I think "color graphics" or "a screen that can be seen in places over than the surface of the sun and no more AA batteries" were more compelling hardware upgrades but maybe a lot of developers will be on board with New 3DS game enhancements or even patching in support for older games.

(use the vram Game Freak so ORAS doesnt have 128px texture maps)

It's actually common enough to be noted on infographics released by Pornhub on the amount of hits they receive from games consoles. By far the minority (1.4% of all people browsing on their consoles) but probably a large enough number if we consider the amount of people browsing there every month.

Mobile phones do the same thing in the UK if you want to access certain websites over data networks.

I think dual-mode GB and GBC games become much more common than grey carts for a few years around 99/2000 and quite a few good Nintendo games ended up going GBC-only to take advantage of the hardware for a couple of years before the GBA came out. The DSi wasn't as successful but I don't think that came out of the bat nearly as strongly as having something like an exclusive port of a popular console game announced for it.

Internal changes in the recent firmware are suggesting a jump from 128 to 256MB of RAM (since the OS apparently reserves part of system memory for itself this may mean that games have more than twice the previously available memory to use) and additional VRAM in addition to the improved CPU Nintendo have mentioned
