Could you please help me on this, i want to utilize 1.1 32bit potential with using smooth graphics for select screen but there's a problem preparing the graphics for mugen itself, perhaps there's some easy trick which i dont know and thus i'm struggling at the moment doing much more work cleaning edges while this can be done automaticly. For instance, i have this sample:



when i use the magic wand or smart eraser I get for a first look a nice resault like: (transparent background)



but the trouble is when I put it on the dark background in which my screenpack is based on and the resukt look much worse, just like this:



Is there a way to get rid of the semi transparent white pixels that looks odd on black background during removing white color from original file?

Hey Mako, the only thing that bugs me in you every release is the easyness of chaining regular attacks, it resembles more of a mvc that cvs, was pots characters made the same way, from what I see in your videos the damage you can do with a single regular move chains is somewhat high comparing to how easy is to pull such a combo, could you please think about it?

Awesome man, what else on your radar for a release. Maybe a Christmas special...hint..hint.lol

Another Mahvel character, but it won't be released for christmas. :( I'll get into further details once these characters are out of the way.
I hope that will be Spiderman or Ghost Rider :P
Funny you say that, I really want these two made, I already separated ghost, but nobody is interested in coding, wouldn't you be inserted in taking a break in coding street fighter chars, ghost rider is so waiting for you :)

So I finally got a new laptop capable of running png and modern mugen finally runs at full speed but since i ommited the all the novelties i started to be a little confused about certain elements of modern mugen, namely:

- pallets, after saving to 1.1 png format i cant seem to get the to work, only the dafault one seems to be willing to show but not the rest, note that I added the indexed pallets for sff in order from 1,1 to 1,6 and added

[Palette Keymap]
x = 4 ;Press button X to select palette 1, etc.
y = 5
z = 6
a = 1
b = 2
c = 3

to character def file together with pal.defaults=1,2,3,4,5,6 on top of the def but without any luck.

hmm, dampir do you just convert the actual kof 13 sprites or you add the missing attacks as well? From what i remember not all the moves were present in 12-13 version of king of fighters... :(

NVM, SOLVED!

Hi I'm experiencing trouble while working on a screenpack for 1.1, I try to get a sprite to load in the center of the screen but without any luck.
I have used code like this:

[SelectBG 0]
type  = normal
spriteno = 9999,97
layerno = 1
start = 0,0/
tile  = 0,0

And the resaults are like that:

I've tried messing with trans parameter but without any luck. Please note that the black line in both corners are part of the same sprite but it was placed in the screen in a different way, namely as a cell.bg.spr = and this way it's displayed properly, how can I display png correctly as a bg?[/s]

I waited a long time for this, just got my new laptop which is capable of running 1.1 with full benefits so i can work again on my past projects, select screen is almost done when it comes to pickinf icons :)

Hi guys, Elena is mostly ready so I'm about o start on a new project, so who's interested and available for coding? Frankly speaking I would be really interested in separating something different than SF3 characers, Leona perhaps? Also, Symbiote Spiderman 2in1 is for the taking... since quickfist retired almost ready spritesheet was put on hold, if anybody is interested in taking this project please let me know!

Aren't you being somewhat selfish guys, ecole are being a dicks but advising him to ignore their warning is somewhat stupid, what you want to make him Mugen martyr, I don't want him to be so kind of internet jesus of fighting game, my thought would be to quit doing melty blood characters but why quit altogether, there are plenty of interesting characters to be converted into pots style, perhaps you could go in this direction, mb is not the only game out there. If you can have fun with Mugen, create so cool content and let us enjoy it so too, just stay safe mate!
