i dont prefer either over the other. if a game can keep me interested and i like the strategy behind the fighting system then its more than enouhg for me to enjoy it

This is probably nothing compared to how the FGC was before the reneissance. Go check out DarkPrince's shenanigans. Dude got banned from the tourney scene for pulling a knife on a guy that beat him.

honestly, go with what you planned. its based of your interpretation, plus i doubt unless youve got an extremely butthurt fan of the series that anyone would complain
if you try to change it, its possible things could get screwed up story wise (in terms of the game)

dark eh? sweet, i feel old school turtles. as much as i love the cheesy cartoon turtles, it'll be slick to see a game with the darker atmosphere. Havn't really seen that since the old comics.

BTW, I faced Reo yesterday. It... It did not end well although he considered my Scorpion good enough to track me down and fight again.

Wow a year without tekken? such a loss...we wont have any super exciting bob mirror matches...
cant really complain about the rest of the games though. I, however, dont expect sf x tekken to be terribly exciting
..though i thought the same when mk was part of evo last year, and it ended up being fairly interesting
i think i look foward to kof the most because i expect more players to turn out. and its a decent game to watch

my main issue with duke was single player level design. it felt repetitive and dry, not nearly as challenging as duke 3d, which had good level design.
I did like the personality of duke (though it felt lame at times, other ties it was funny and traditional duke) and interaction for ego boosting was a neat addition.
The biggest issue was it got overhyped because it was FINALLY getting released
it was more of feel good casual game that you dont play seriously. good for a playthrough or two. mainly there with its humor as the primary entertainment value, but there are exceptions if this humor is not what you enjoy
as for the rest of the list i could easily agree with, the LSD award made me laugh

on their forum, necrostorm released another version of the vs demo, with bugs fixed.
However it still runs slow for me and video isnt present

as much as you dont want to be like everyone else, the madcatz TE is just a stick that wont give you grief. ITs good for begginners and isnt terribly expensive.
id also suggest the Hori Real Arcade pro VXSA

you literally only have the option to play versus.
the controls are not even what they say they are on the menu
and it runs unbelievable slow on my comp

i ran it and it said some video compressor was missing so it wouldnt display. lovely

good point about jax.
as for noob, yeah hes low for a reason
-limited combo options
-limited mix up
-his best strategy is zoning whihc 60% of the roster has a solution for
-hes very open to punishment outside his zoning
one good advantage is though is any combo that you can get with an xray will do high damage
