... Uh, Kame, I think you're reading this wrong. Apparently you interpreted his post as "you do that thing and it makes people not want to talk about Mugen around you", and you interpret it as secret conversations happening behind your back to agree on avoiding the subject. That's not what he said. Read his post more carefully.
As for this conversation right now, you've said some stuff, different people picked up on it, none of them thought it was important enough to bring it up telling you to drop it, but when it does come up and you deny it, then witnesses simply come out and say "yes, it does happen, it is in fact something you do".

No one is saying they're pissed off by your attitude, no one is saying that you're a terrible person for doing that, we're just saying "it happens, and we've noticed it". Don't feel ambushed just because no one told you off and suddenly several people are coming at you from nowhere. Just... take the hint.

That much is obvious, but discarding the whole gen like that sounds shallow. Thngs will change, more games will come out. A lot of people wait for that before buying a new console without saying "I'll sit out that generation" so early.

Same here. I've had Sony in my life since PS1 but the system just costs way too much and SF5 is the only game I know of that I'd want on it and one game isn't enough to spend that kind of money.

PC and WiiU is more than enough this gen.
I don't understand. "This generation" is gong to last anywhere between 5 and 10 years, not just a year or two. Are you saying there won't be any game you'll buy on the new consoles for all that time, even counting those not yet announced - or even thought of ? Or that the price tag won't go down ?

The dos command line tools were super easy once you understood how they worked and knew how to copy-paste. The only downside is that it's easy to get lost in big text files if you don't also have a tool to use as a viewer (like MCM). They were hard to get used to, though, but once you got the hang of it, it was smooth sailing.
Too bad they don't work anymore unless you kept a computer with Windows XP. Or is there a way to still make them work ?

From what I've seen, the protest happened very quickly after the event, long before the police released any information. The shooting was reported, the guy's friend claimed the cop was violent and shot his friend when he was running away while the police dept said the cop reacted to a gun threat, then the protest happened because of that "he said, she said", then it was reported that there was a security camera, then the mayor said the video showed the guy pull a gun, and just recently the video was made public as seen in Niitris' link (it does show the guy pulling what appears to be a gun).
The protesters must have reacted out of habit because of the general situation, the current conjunction. But it was over after before night time.

Incidentally, the friend definitely said what he said thinking it would trigger some more shit, not realizing there was a security camera. Hopefully he's in a lot of trouble now because of that.
