Authorities killing whoever the fuck they want just because they didn't obey their every order or "resisted arrest" or because the police didn't understand what was going on, and then protecting itself because they're the authorities and they're the ones who decide, is a bigger problem than racism. I'm sorry but that's just how it is and nobody wants to admit it.
Although it's true that racism is much more "common ground" and much more ingrained in society. But people whose power and authority got to their head and won't admit it, that's a problem much more ancient and much stronger than racism.

This shooting wasn't even because they thought he was a threat but likely because he refused to comply (since he was mentally retarded and the 69 y.o. guy could talk him to sleep, that's pretty obvious). There isn't even any mention of aggressive behavior, he just didn't obey the cop's every order so the cop killed him - enough to leave the front door riddled with bullet holes, too !

Ah, right, the "dual heat attack" keeping the name from ASB seems to me like it guarantees that it's still ASB system (CC2, 2D), only with tag.
Hm, the announcement for the playable demo says there will be 7 characters, but it only lists 6 names. Odd. Maybe they're keeping another surprise for that demo ? Nevermind, that Japanese text adds Kakyoin and the translation just forgot him.

The models are clearly those from ASB, and I don't think that Bamco could just take over those assets from CC2 even if CC2 only developed it for Bamco, something like that has never happened and I'm pretty sure there are contracts and copyrights for that. I'm 90% sure this is ASB2 made by CC2, they just changed the name because the tag system makes it a different game rather than a sequel, like how the Tekken Tag series is separated from regular Tekken iterations. I think they precisely don't want to just make "ASB2", they wanted to make something worth being a new game and not just an update, hence the tag system and the name change. Plus the tag system obviously makes it easier to reproduce stuff from the manga, particularly with unique teams from later parts, of course that supports the need for such a jump.
I'm not too worried, if we forget that CC2 made Naruto, there's no major reason to suspect a change from 2D to Naruto-like 3D gameplay, so far.
The genre for ASB was indeed "stylish JoJo action" but I can't remember if it said "maker : Bandai" or "CC2".
As for the 4 characters at once, I'm pretty sure they simply picked screenshots to showcase the tag system in action, and it'll allow both characters to attack at once, but it won't be 2-on-2 all the time I think. Tag action being a two-pronged attack with both characters, or even just some assist/support type of action. And the Dual Heat Attack is just a way to make use of specific tag teams to "recreate specific manga events".
The only thing I'm worried about is that they always said they had to go with 30 fps instead of 60 because of the "2 characters + 2 Stands", and now we can have twice that much at the same time on screen. Huh, right, that'll work... Good thing it's for PS4 too, but the PS3 version might have issues.
I guess the route of this discussion is that Lucky Chloe apparently doesn't fit in Tekken? Even though there are more outlandish HUMAN characters in Tekken than her?

It may be one, but talking about it as one is guaranteed to get nowhere. If you want to solve the issue, you have to address the underlying problem - that the cops can kill people just because they're afraid, then it turns out they were wrong and the guy really wasn't a threat at all, and yet they get away with murder. Focusing on the race issue is a sure fire way for this to never get anywhere. It's happened before, several times.
I myself don't think it's some open racism, they didn't necessarily think "he's Black, I can shoot him", but it's a social thing, they were more scared of the guy because he was Black, than they would have been if he had been white. Expectations built by social habits. Even without being racist, there's a big chance you're going to react to a random Black guy differently than you would to a random white guy.

The characters are realistically portrayed. Heihachi. Kazuya, fallen hero who made a deal with the devil to get revenge. Miguel. Julia, Ganryu, Wang, Xiaoyu. Not like succubus Morrigan, werewolf Talbain or bounty hunter Sol Badguy with a sword of fire that all come from a world of magic.

One thing, guarding gives "gray" damage (recoverable), but I'm under the impression that it also gives some Revenge meter. So back when I said the Revenge system worked together with the Focus system, well, basically the Focus system was extended to regular guard, in term of recoverable damage, it's how the revenge bar grows. So it still fits

It looks like you don't understand the word "portrayal". They act in a realistic way, their behavior is realistic. It fits the real world - with added gods and boxing dinosaurs, sure, but their portrayal is realistic. Apparently you just have no sense of reality anymore, as soon as we got devils and angels, you forgot what the real world was like, and what real people are like, you don't see the difference anymore between Tekken and games like BlazBlue and Darkstalkers that have magic and monsters.
