I'm playing around, I know what would take priority. That said:

Shows the difference between Speed and visual mode among other things.
Speed will be used for online play.

Heh, DoA5 doesn't even have a intro unless you count the arcade opening sequence (which has no naked girls sadly).

I also hated how he made Kasumi so emotionally desperately attached to her own brother, which was creepy and reminded me of incest.
lol

DoA is better off without him. People can say what they want about the rampant DLC and sexualization, gameplay is the best it's ever been which is all that really matters at the end of the day.

He also wasn't very fond of Dimensions; said all of this on his Facebook account a little over a month ago.

I really liked that game even if it's broken as hell. It really captures the feeling of the anime/manga... even if having a weakling like Heart in the game does not make sense :P

I'm only just starting on the manga so I can't say much on that, though Arc certainly got the Art style down. I do know about how notoriously broken the game is but hey, good balance doesn't always equal fun.

PS3 has a setting that reduces loading times by removing certain background props and effects. Nice thinking Arc.

Cool thread; would certainly help in figuring out what characters are worth DLing.

Helps that I'm rather odd in that there's nothing I dislike on an aesthetic level. Unfortunately no recommendations because I hardly ever play mugen, partly because I don't know what to download.

Hokuto no Ken

I fiddle with an Atomiswave emulator, fix a few settings, and to my surprise it runs at full speed (yes). Couldn't believe it, though it does have a few visual moments.

Enjoying the game itself as well.

The TEKKEN franchise is celebrating it's 20th Anniversary this month and Bandai Namco has announced that they're holding a 'Thanksgiving' event for all fans of the series to celebrate. The niconico broadcast of this event will feature the latest Tekken game: TEKKEN 7 with a 'Exhibition Tournament' featuring some 'world champions' of the series. Of course, the latest news on TEKKEN 7 will be revealed in the event as well as have special guests Katsuhiro Harada and Yuriko Tiger in the broadcast. There are to be more special guests in the event but they haven't yet been announced. The niconico stream of this event will occur on the 7th of December, 2014 and run from 12:30 PM until 6:00 PM Japan time.

Hopefully something/someone new is revealed.

For me it was a full game, typical newb aspiration. Wow did reality set in.

I still want to do one but it's nowhere near as elaborate.

considering the fact that nobody owns him or his opinions, and he didnt even specifically ask for opinions, the reaction was indeed disproportionate.

Regardless if it was or wasn't, he quite obviously did something that frustrated people. They believed that he actively disregarded their attempts to speak with him, which most people would believe to be rude. Even if he was instructed to ignore certain members, it's bad social etiquette (much less forum etiquette). Can you really blame anyone for voicing their displeasure?

Maybe the reaction he got was needlessly aggressive (which I don't think it was but opinions). My point is that Omega isn't completely innocent, even if he didn't do it on purpose.

Omega again, huh?

So, he said he wanted to get opinions on a particular series, which would require being open to people he may not be on good terms with. He gets opinions, and makes a statement that shows he either misunderstood (in which he could've asked again) or failed to acknowledge the comments he got in that very thread. Chances are, the response won't be very kind (especially with his history).

And not seeing where any rules was broken in regards to what triggered everything (the news link thing). No one retorted with outright insults or disparaging of character. If Omega was that annoyed with what anyone posted, he would've used the report function (which he has used before) or said something in response. He eventually did the latter, but not before intervention took place. I recognize his history and whatnot, but the reaction he got was reasonable and none of the reactions were disproportionate.
