Quote
Capcom’s Tomoaki Ayano (Ultra Street Fighter IV): “Rather than a side-view fighting game, I want to make a Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme VS.-like multiplayer game.”

Arc System Works’ Toshimichi Mori (Guilty Gear): “Anything is good. I want to make an Idolmaster fighting game. And in the end, I want to work towards The Idolmaster vs. Love Live.”

Sega’s Takahara Terada (Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax): “I’m also gunning for Love Live. Since Love Live is also a Dengeki work, I want the girls to be playable if we make another installment of Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax. And ultimately, it’d be interesting if we could get characters from novels of other companies.”

Mori listed under Guilty Gear, heh.

That I'd love to see, must research on this Love Live.

there is nothing wrong with guns, like the saying goes, guns don't kill people, people kill people. Although I don't see a reason to go to a coffee shop with your gun, that's just silly. Again it's not the gun's fault, just the dumb ass with it.

Well, there seems to be too many dumbasses lately.

Pretty safe to say where I stand on this. Guns are not anything to be taken lightly despite US pop media implying otherwise, and sometimes people underestimate just how powerful firearms actually are until they (or someone they know) gets into a situation that involves using one. I don't think they should be in the hands of average civilians or even officers for that matter. I mean it's not like some people become cops just for the perks, like the day they can use their gun against a "rebel," whether it's by intimidation or actual usage. They may be "qualified" to own one, but that doesn't mean that they have the mental fortitude to use one responsibly (recent examples being proof of irresponsible gun use). More reasonably, there should certainly be harsher regulations so that firearms aren't an absolute necessity for officers to protect themselves.

I'd like to think that as politicians of an affluent nation that the government would know better, so much for that.

lol tragic.

I'd like to think we're a forgiving bunch who's pretty good at forgetting trival things like subpar mugen conversions. I mean, what does Borewood think we would do to him, bite his head off? I like my new avatar. :V

considering all the crimes that are done using guns that's a fucking terrible idea

Given those conditions, yes I agree. But I'm sure it's not an atmosphere people want to live around, maybe except people who think it's cool to own a gun or something.

With the recent events involving cops needlessly shooting and killing people, rather easy to start feeling that way. I still stand by the sentiment in that change would have to start from somewhere (starting with civilians might be better, idk). America's gun culture is absolutely ridiculous, especially for a developed nation. Quite embarrassing personally.

The footage shows that he was dressed as a samurai. His family says he was carrying a non-sharp replica sword, and was an anime fan who was cosplaying as a samurai character from a popular anime series. The cops shot him 6 times in the back while he was fleeing for his life. The video contradicts earlier statements by police that Hunt swung the sword at the police officers before they began shooting him.

Of course.

And I was just telling myself today that cops shouldn't be allowed to carry guns.

More specifically uses the same code as Nihdogg and KI2, which got mixed reactions.

Apparently quality netcode is too much to ask for. That was short lived, more time to focus on Xrd I suppose.

Hyperbolic statement turned into a point of tension, heh. All things considered, I don't have an issue that particular point. Grits was speaking more on the accounts of the average minority (who indeed doesn't get the same amount of respect as the average white teenager), so Obama isn't exactly the best comparison even if it is a valid counter argument to the statement itself. On the topic of respect,

In case you had any doubts left about this being a racially charged conflict.

Those are just impulsive ingorants who react off what they see rather than do some research and formulate an opinion that actually matters to any decently educated person (and by educated I mean people who know that basic human respect isn't malleable due to racial background). Fuck gaining their respect cause their good graces mean jack shit to be quite frank. And yeah, anyone with eyes knows it's a racial issue; saying otherwise, and of course there are some who really believe otherwise, is spitting in the face of common sense.

All and all, African American kids aren't as respected as their white counterparts, and that's not something that will change anytime soon. Unfortunate reality of being a minority in white America. Doesn't help that there are no other developed nations (where blacks are the majority) to help shape perceived notions of individuals. Sure people like Obama help, but try convincing the average (read: dumb, beer-guzzling fatass) American that an average black teenager will even have a decently successful profession, much less become a nation leader. Yeah.

Well to be fair, he's also a honey addict. I don't think you'd want a mascot who would encourage children to play around with beehives. None too safe.

Law enforcement wearing cameras would be a step in the right direction. So would forbidding the police to carry guns but that's being way too hopeful. Just a quick search on the topic, law enforcement in the UK (excluding Northern Ireland) don't carry firearms barring special circumstances.

Why would any decent person chastise someone's parents passing away because of something as trivial as forum commenting history? Maybe if you had a history of blatant trolling and/or lying it'd be a bit different.

Anyway, that's awful to hear. May her soul rest in peace, and stay strong.

That was the first image hosting site I used. Then it kept distorting my uploads for some odd reason. I never bothered to check why it kept happening but one would think that uploading images in this time would be seamless. Yeah, fuck Imageshack.

Migrating to photobucket (which isn't that much better) and imgur was quite the upgrade.
