That's pretty much what it looks like maxed out, although I guess you could do some tweaking via the INI files and/or add some post-processing with SweetFX.

Random shot from Tomb Raider.

Tomb Raider. Pretty good game when it doesn't spam QTEs (i.e. after the first ~2 hours) or lock you into a scripted action sequence. Gorgeous graphics, good music, mediocre story (although it gets the job done.) Controls are kinda weird : crouching/taking cover is done automatically when enemies are close, jumping feels awkward (dev team must hate Newton's laws of motion,) no hip firing. The actual bits of tomb raiding are pretty decent, but the puzzles are way too simple. I was also expecting to fight more non-human enemies. ~75% completion so far, and I still don't get to dual-wield handguns ?? °^°

Sleeping Dogs. Last (?) DLC should be coming out soon, so I thought I'd go for a full playthrough since I've pretty much forgotten everything about that game and not played the other DLCs.

Arcanum : Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura. Seeing Chris Avellone play it and miss so much stuff made me reinstall it. 18th playthrough, I think, and still having a blast. Playing a neutral character for now, will probably go evil to keep the best sword in the game (how can you say no to a sword forged in the flames of burning children anyway ?)

Damn, that was horrible :pwn:

Makes me wonder how that party will be like if you finish ME2 with most of your teammates killed.

Huh, I was expecting an AC3 trilogy.

So... more naval battles, and that body in the foreground hides the protagonist's feet, which hints at him having a peg leg and the ability to stab people with it.

Day 1 purchase. (if they don't screw up the PC version again)

The M- flag works just fine : as long as your opponent is in MoveType=H (doesn't matter if you hit them directly or not,) your attack cannot hit them.

What happens is that it connects right at the moment the opponent gets out of their hit state, during which they go back to their neutral state and can't do anything until the next tick. And Mugen considers it a combo because they went from a hitstate to another hitstate, I guess ?

Adding a P2MoveType!=H trigger to the HitDef should be enough to circumvent that.

It's entirely possible to do that with KFM. So, either he has some code that allows just that, or it is built into Mugen. *shot*

A bit late to the party...

Both
+ Can record in lossless RGB.
+ Can record audio from an extra source, with push-to-talk feature.
- Limited options when it comes to codec settings.

FRAPS only
+ Can record multi-channel audio...
- ... in WAV format only.
- Can only use its own codec, which isn't tweakable in any way (IIRC, you just have a checkbox to switch between lossy YUV and  lossless RGB.)
- Terrible quality/filesize ratio.
- Records only via DirectX/OpenGL hook, so M.U.G.E.N has to run in OpenGLScreen/PageFlip mode, which may result in some FPS hit (alternatively, you can record the entire desktop if Aero is enabled... yeah, bad idea.)
- $37

Bandicam only
+ Can record via DirectX/OpenGL hook like FRAPS, or full desktop, or screen region, pick your poison.
+ Several built-in codecs (all of them lossy ; the only lossless option is uncompressed RGB, IIRC.)
+ Supports VfW codecs (HuffYUV, Lagarith, x264, etc...)
+ Can encode audio...
- ... in stereo MP3 format.
- Only lossless video "codec" is uncompressed RGB.
- Automatically subsamples the video when using VfW codecs :doom:
- $39

In terms of performance, I don't know, to be honest. Last time I tried, both were using around the same amount of CPU for similar video quality. Bandicam, however, injects its own DLL into the target process and does the capture/encoding from there, which may or may not result in better performance depending on the system, I guess ?

Some alternatives you may want to consider :
- MSI Afterburner. Originally a GPU monitoring/overclocking tool, it now has a video capture via DirectX feature. Supports VfW codecs and multi-channel audio. Free.
- DxTory. Captures via DirectX hook. Apparently has much better performace than FRAPS and Bandicam. Can be used as a DirectShow device (useful for streaming, I guess.) Supports VfW/ACM codecs. ¥3,600
- Mirillis Action! seems to be getting quite popular. Captures via DirectX, screen region, or full desktop. Heard it offers phenomenal performance, but it uses its own (lossy) codec. $30
- (insert pamphlet about VirtualDub here.)

Sorry if somebody already mentioned this bug, I didn't find in the thread.

If you try to juggle the opponent with a basic attack after + kick, the opponent will glitch and fly to outside of the screen.
Also happens to me since the latest update, although some characters (e.g. Ryu by Phantom.of.the.Server and Kung Fu Man) can tech before the TargetState triggers. I also managed to (accidentally) make it happen by using cr.HK on an airborne opponent.

Anyhoo...
  • Neutral j.HK allows opponents to tech in mid-air.
  • The gargoyle-thing's shadow appears during the hitpause(s) of Shadow Kick.
  • First two hits of Shadow Kick usually miss when cornered and close to the opponent.
  • Zeus Major gives a tidge of power back.
  • In C-Groove,
    HK Tatsumaki (4 hits) > Arc Cannon Lv2 (10 hits) > (C-Groove cancel) Arc Cannon Lv1 (4 hits)
    HK Tatsumaki (4 hits) > Arc Cannon Lv2 (10 hits) > (C-Groove cancel) Arc Shot (1 hit) > Arc Cannon Lv1 (7 hits)
    Bug ? Feature ? Both ?

Other than that, smells like awesome, as if God himself did his personal hygiene. 10/10 would sniff again.

Nitpicks and stuff, Vol.2 °^° :
  • Hadn't noticed before, but Shinryuu Tenshin Houshuu and Houten Soushou give some power back.
  • The background part of the super background/portrait effect appears at full size during the first frame the helper spawns.
  • Not sure whether intended, but damage scaling doesn't seem to affect Toutenbyou.
  • The last part of "The Lost Super" won't connect if you don't have any juggle points left, and leave the opponent stuck in a custom state.

Nitpicks and stuff °^° :
  • Short/hyper hop -> HP -> air Toutenbyou loop is an infinite.
  • Air Toutenbyou can juggle the opponent ad infinitum.
  • "The Lost Super" projectile gives back some power on hit.
  • I see you already have "To do: Fix the backwards Super Portrait when facing left" in the readme file, so I won't rant about it. °3°
  • Not sure whether it is intended, but it is possible to chain two Tenbu Houyoku Shou in the corner (and/or juggle afterwards)

Other than that, she seems like a solid character.
