@Iced: I just took some prolonged speeches from Tenkaichi and tried to match them (length wise) as close as possible to Mick's.

@Cybaster: Thanks. And yeah, I sent it to you on Saturday. Increased the volume on the JP voices that needed it, and left Mick's voice as requested. But there was one clip I messed up on actually, so I'll reupload them and post it for you in a moment.

Out of sheer enjoyment of the newly released VegetaZ2, I was itching to make myself a Chris Sabat soundpack and did some other stuff. Here's what it consists of...

What's in this SND?

- High quality voice rips.
- It's mostly Budokai 1-3 based vs Tenkaichi. But Most quotes are taken from Tenkaichi.
- Unfortunately, Mick Lauer's voice is completely replaced with Chris Sabat's.
- Increased Japanese voices.
- Added new Final Flash Japanese voice clip.

Credit

Cybaster & Balthazar - Obviously for putting in a lot of hard work into making these baller ass DBZ characters.
JWezzy - Used some of your sound clips, and was the first to do it.

This soundpack will only be temporary until Cybaster updates Vegeta with all 3 VA's. But until then, let me know your thoughts and enjoy.

Nice release.

I was actually working on a patch myself. I'm also upping the volume for the Japanese voice (added some new clips too). I'm almost done. But do you mind if I use some of your sound clips Jweezy? You'll definitely be credited.

He's actually right. Without arrow keys, I was maxing at 31 on the keyboard. When I was messing around with the arrow keys randomly, I reached 47. Mash up and down with the punch buttons.

Anyway, the Japanese voice is pretty low as already mentioned, but it's mainly because of some of the sound effects too. They're overly loud especially while they're clashing together at once. It's not too big an issue for the English voice, but it still hinders the voice more than it should IMO.

Yeah, that made me tear up a little. But I have to run out for a bit anyway, so by the time I get back Vegeta will be mine. :mevil:

And dang it Cy or Balt, answer my question about Final Explosion. I will love you forever if you implement it in a future update. Unless there's already plans for SSJ Vegeta.

Final Explosion is kinda Majin Vegeta's signature move, not normal Vegeta.  I'm not even sure if he can do it outside being Majin....(Not even sure how the technique worked in the first place, turning him into stone somehow...)

I'm aware that he can't do it outside of Majin (Budokai 3, etc), but it's Mugen, we can break a few rules. Besides it'd be friggin' awesome! :D

If anything, it'd be similar to how GokuZ2 can now go SSJ for his level 3. Vegeta could turn Majin for Galactic Gunfire or something and explode at the end. Just throwing some cray ideas out there. :P

Need confirmation from Balthazar, but I think the problems only occur on projectile based Super BG.

All of them are coded as helpers, and triggered in state -2 with these types of triggers :

As Balthazar said, they kinda seem to trigger at random for whatever reason.

Add that code under state -3. I have a similar setup and it works best under-3 since it stays active. So it looks like this.

Yeah, he kinda does have that Raditz-like voice. Although, I really like when he says "Hell's waiting for you!". That shit is money!

Galick Gun fx look like they could use some more shades.

Yeah speaking of effects, I was always wondering why you guys haven't gone the high res route? I'm not saying it's a must, but it's usually the way to go nowadays. Like Fuuma's explosion effect for "Bakuhatsuha" for example, it's kinda bland to me. Maybe it's because I've seen it so much, but it's just a thought.

-Rage mode gatling finisher could end with Vegeta stomping the p2 after the blasts (I think it fits with the rage thing, and you already got the sprites)

Word is he'll have his big blast finisher from DBZ HD implemented. More suiting IMO.

- Not sure I want to add a final huge blast. He'll have variations of the move when in Rage mode, so you'll see nice finishers at this time.

HD Style? Yes, yes, and YES!!!

If you don't tap buttons at all, he'll only fire about 10 blasts. I think the max you can reach is 50 blasts, but you have to tap like crazy. I never reached it.

I honestly think it'd be better to tap the buttons for more shots, but I know what you mean. If anything, just simplify it by say for example, allowing about 30 blasts with no taps and 50 blasts max with taps. You don't have to go too crazy and everybody wins! :D

The Blasts look slow IMO.
They could be sped up a bit.

Agreed. It works for the initial shots since they exit the screen faster, but it's after that could use a little bit more speed. And I don't know if this was intentional, but when he's firing shots, one of his arms give off blur (left side) while the other doesn't. But I'm just being a bit picky though. This was definitely taken in the right direction.
