I don't has da voice for it (Plus, honestly I'd be embarrassed), but if I could, I'd definitely voice act. Not just for MUGs either, I'd do...like anime dub stuff. Seriously, if all else fails (no jinx) you could have a career in that.

Also, why don't we turn the reanimated zombanimals into mugen characters(Not even half serious)
And I just remembered that Russel  resurrected a bunch of dead animals and sold them, so this is relevant.....

Multiple people are wrong and I have not been an ass in this thread. I have presented my argument and I have been mocked by people who are being asses to me.

Insults and states of being(In your case, you're in a state of being an ass in more than one way, good job on that.) Are all relative. It is a commonly unacknowledged fact that you yourself can not completely understand how you affect/make others feel. You are indeed acting like an ass, because you treated those with an opposing viewpoint poorly, then stubbornly(like a literal ass) refused to acknowledge the truth. In this case, it was the truth because as I stated, you can not gauge your own "ass-liness" Just as I can not. If multiple people say that I'm being an ass by posting this, I'll have no choice but to accept that as the truth because it is all relative. Nonsensical gibberish supporting what I said.

ON another note. I belive we should NOT bring anything back because of the whole "Whatever can go wrong, will" thing. And honestly there is no real proof that anything we brought back would even be able to survive. The air element ratios are different, the climates have changed, all other species that they would have fed on are either extinct or evolved to the point where they bear no similarities. I'm referring, of course to the more ancient of the extinct. The more recently excommunicated-from-existence should not be revived either, for bringing them back would basically upset the current balance in nature. If it is a neccessity to bring them back because of something like: Extincto river dulfin> Special meanie fish>Angry Krill>Special algae, we killed the Extincto, and as a result the Special meanies killed off all of the Angry krill, causing all of the Special algae to grow to much and kill off all remaining life in the area. Then it's our bad, and we should fix that immediately. (I mean recently...if this happened long ago then too fuckin bad.


TL;IDR version: Rajaa's a bit of an ass, and don't bring em back.

I bought the game 3 days ago and played it yesterday....

While I don't have Gold yet, I do plan on practicing when that time does come, but can anyone tell me what are the Valentine basics? And who works well with her? Because I'm still stumped because there's no trial mode to get a grip on what are some good combo tips and stuff are...


Most of her normals do extra hits the more you press them, her standing lp can do 3, her mp can do I think 8 (You only press it twice though), her HP I don't remember, her lp does 1, her mk does around 5 hits (not sure if you just wait or if you need to press it twice) and her HK can be done thrice. Using this, you can combo lp, lp, lp, mp, mp, mk, mk, (Maybe HP, but for the life of me I can't remember it) then HK, HK, HK Special, or if you're fancy you can cancel into a super or replace the HKs with her launcher and start an air combo. It may sound complicated, but that's because I'm bad at explaining things

But while I can use the time to practice(mainly want to try out Valentine, I like Ninjas), I have played plenty of fighting games beforehand(namely Blazblue, Street Fighter 4 and a bit of Soul Calibur), and I was wondering how tough mastering this game is compared to those?
Execution is pretty fair. Combo system is kind of like Mvc meets Blazblue in my opinion. There's no really hard links or anything that I know of. All you have to do to combo is not mash and be aware of your inputs. Learning new combos is not so much about breaking your fingers with 1 frame links as it is drilling the many many inputs into your brain. If you can play Blazblue you can play this.

That's quite a good thought to hear as I'm not the greatest at Blazblue, but I knew enough to do basic to intermediate comboes.
The Combos in Skullgirls are extravagant, but as long as you have a good defense against people's tricks (and maybe only use 1 character teams) then basic-intermediate combos are more than enough.

I just found out about this thread yesterday, so I haven't gone through all the pages, but does anybody know when they're going to patch in the character movelists? It's already confirmed that they will, I just don't know when.

[/quote]okay, I can hope though. But I do really like the combos system, it just takes a little getting used to. There is a way to stop infinites, but that doesn't mean you can't have long combos. The system just detects loops is all. once a loop is detected, you hit any button, and the opponent is pushed away from you. The only real problems with the game are the high loading times and the fact that there's no move list, and I guess the two-man rooms seems a little pointless. All in all it's a solid, well rounded fighter on par with the greats. (Except the story ending, that was bullshit.)

I don't know if anyone has seen this yet, but Peacock's item drop has ridiculous variety. There's one drop in particular, however, that I want to know more about. It seems to be a level 3 Drop, where Avery drops down on a steamroller, there's a super flash, and he punches it until it explodes. I managed to get it twice in training mode, but unfortunately I do not own a capture card. After I finished flipping out, It got me thinking about all of her other drops....so, how bout we compile them here?

(P.S. I might be the first person recorded that noticed this, just making a note.)

Wait, I just go a new idea! A pendant that's moving side to side, and each time it swings back into view, its content changes relative to the character of the award! I could add fire in the foreground!
That might be one of those things that sounds better in your head (This might too).
How about a Gem that turns and displays different things related to the character on each face?
