Sorry if I confused anyone, but by tank, I meant moves that cannot be stopped by normal means ala juggernaut. I.E. Violence will keep going even if he is successfully hit by an enemy attack. I guess I should've said something like "HyperArmor" or "SuperArmor" or "OMFGhecan'tbestopped", but frankly "Tank" sounds cooler.

Looks awesome, diepod. Quick question though, will he have any Tank/Wallbounce specials or supers? Seems a little appropriate to me, from what I can grasp of his character.

I'm sorry if my last post was stupid, but I really don't know why RC1 doesn't work. It says it's missing a dll file, but it works fine on Vista......Is this a problem with the computer itself or is it a bug in the program? I'm only asking because I don't know, sorry if it bothers anyone.

Sorry to necro but if I wanted to Make the music not necessarily stop, but to put the volume to 0 so that if the character makes a comeback, the music will pick up again where it would have been had it not stopped? Or just to make it pause and play according to whose health is higher? or would that put too much strain on the engine/my computation machine?

Hello, my name is CapnWTF I've been mucking with the M.U.G.E.N. Engine for years now (mostly leeching) and now I'm trying to do something with my lack of skills. Will there be a way to automatically sort files into groups based on their names? I.E. File 12_01 will be auto-sorted to be the first file in group 12 or something like that. Just a time saver, really.

I showed a couple of my friends the Demo and their heads almost exploded. I definitely want this game, ESPECIALLY since I have an Xbox. But like lolmechy said, I think I'll wait for the price drop.

It's been bothering me for a long while now. What exactly do you call one who does MUGEN related things? Mugenite? Mugenoid? Mugenator? ASDFJKL? Am I the only one that's slightly bothered by this?  :???:
I'd like it if we had an "official" name, just for conversation purposes really.

hehe uh...so yeah, it's been a while, and I have made no headway whatsoever!! WOOOT! But I'm still learning these tutorials, and quickly too (Thanks Youtube). Should I change anything about this thread to make it more noticeable? (Title, something lulzy? maybe just some lights flashing really hard and dubstep? I needs answers)

I did not set the BG to transparent, now I know to do so, so thanks. I DID set it to 256 colors, and interestingly enough, the Head model by itself showed the colors perfectly, but when I connected it to the body, the whole thing faded slightly when rendered.

Also, If any admin sees this and wants to move it, I'm okay with that.

OKAY! uh...yeah. So, I've noticed 2 problems off the bat. --; there seems to be a serious amount of color loss in the images, and by color loss I mean fading (just in case they aren't the same thing). This, and the background color for the images is black, and I don't know how to change that. Any tips?

OKAY! So I've made some proof-o-concept headway, and I made a stupid-looking 3D model head and torso and did a quick animation with them.



I apologize for it being so huge. I'm new to forums in general and don't know how to do anything. (I had to google AND use youtube just to figure out how to post that one .GIF, and I'm not even sure it plays!)

I like that idea a lot! I don't work with sprite sheets, but with the gigantic sets of files upon files of ripped sprites from games. Just having to rename the sprites to something would be a lot more efficient for me than manually adding and renaming the sprites after I re-do the colors and things.
