When i go into practice or versus mode and i want to select a stage, it keeps flickering and i can barely see what stage is showing.
i tried to take a screenshot of it but it is going to fast for me to get it.
any ideas on what i can do?

It's best to make a backup of your Mugen, incase problems occur. Move all of the files in the RAR/ZIP to the folders in Mugen. For example, move all files in the font folder into the font folder of your current screenpack. But since you're using 1.0, I don't think it may work as well, knowing that screenpack is made for WinMugen.

And what version of Mugen are you using?
i used this tutorial http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4tbXlzojxzw&feature=related , im on the latest release of MUGEN 1.0
the files from the download are scattered so its hard for me to install lol

no matter what i do , i cant get this SP to work. I dl/ed it and followed the instructions and it wont work still...... i know how to set-up screenpacks but this one is giving me a hard time. it always gives an error saying it cant read the system.def for the SP
can someone help me or atleast send me a link for a better capcom vs SNK 2 screenpack

i had the same problem .
you need to set an order for each match for it to work.
(example) arcade.maxmatches = 4,3,1,0,0,0,0,0,0,0

Maybe your new select.def for the new screenpack has the number of matches to play set to 0, or the orders could be set wrongly. Check your arcade.maxmatches. Having it set in a way that it's unable to start the first match (no opponents in any orders that are set to nonzero matches,or having it set to 0 matches total) does crash Mugen.

What the fuck... the only time this has happened to me was because of the cursor start cell, but it seems to be working fine in here....
Okay one more question? Are you able to play Arcade mode in other SPs?
every other screenpack i tried works perfectly fine except for this one

This is odd... how did you install the screenpack?
i put the screenpack in my mugen data folder. and in the data/mugen1/system.def located in the system.def file I changed it to
data/MvC2/system.def

Where is the "arcade mode" on the title screen located? (bottom of list? top of list?)
and find the lines in the system.def similar to this:
Quote; Names for each of the items in the menu. Names must be in quotes.

; (hold Esc to quit demos). *2001.11.14 NEW*
menu.itemname.arcade = "ARCADE"
menu.itemname.versus = "VS MODE"

And post those lines.
I'm guessing the for some reason, your menu.itemname.exit is disguised as arcade mode?
That's the only solution I can come up with so far since I never heard of any problem like this.
i tried this and still it does not work. Do you think its the version of mugen im using? im currently on the latest released version of 1.0.

Does any error message appear before Mugen shuts down?
Or does it shut down with out any message?
And when does it close?
Does it close after you select "arcade mode"?
Does it close after you select your characters in the select screen?
Or does it shut down after the "VS screen?
And does it only happen in arcade mode?
Anytime i press arcade mode it just completely shuts down. no error message or anything. and it only happens with arcade mode

and i installed it and everything but when i try arcade mode it quits my MUGEN, what can i do to fix it? thanks for the help
