I have been playing Mugen for a long time with little problems. However, the music in Mugen doesn't seem to play anymore. I checked the settings and everything seems to be normal, so I started and it still doesn't play. I don't know how to fix this, it would be great if somebody helped.

It's best to make a backup of your Mugen, incase problems occur. Move all of the files in the RAR/ZIP to the folders in Mugen. For example, move all files in the font folder into the font folder of your current screenpack. But since you're using 1.0, I don't think it may work as well, knowing that screenpack is made for WinMugen.

Right now, I'm creating a Mugen character, but there's only one problem with it. Hitsounds are not working.
Quotepausetime = 12,12
sparkno = 12
sparkxy = -40,-100
hitsound = 10,0 <-----------------
guardsound = 6,0
I have the sound in the SND file, however, it doesn't play. I've tried editing the sound, but still, it does not play. Some feedback would be appreciated.

Are you even setting it up correctly?
I'm not getting this problem.
Your folder should look something like this:
Spoiler, click to toggle visibilty
Once you've extracted what needs to be there
I just did that, and I still get the same message. I have Mugen 1.0, been using it for a while now.

I downloaded it. Upon starting Mugen, all I get is this:
"Can't load system.snd"
I've reinstalled it MANY times, and I don't know how to fix this.
