Mai has been updated. Finally eh...? ;P

Get her at TrinityMUGEN.  ;) Here's what's be done....

- SFF/AIR completely revamped
- New intro/winpose added
- New moves Yusura Ume, Hakuro no Mai, and Hana Arashi added
- New neutral(no vel X) jump HK added
- Various coding touch ups and tweaks
- Multiple sprite edits added
- Throws fixed up
- MAX Mode implemented
- New Advancing Guard FX added
- ReadMe Updated

Still some things to add for later. Though for now, I didn't want to hold onto her when she is ready to go. The extra stuff will be bonus stuff that I add in the near future. Refer to her ReadMe for info on the extra stuff I plan to add later. Along with info on all her current updates. Enjoy. :)

Thanks man but, sadly it's going to be only for 1.0. Still I have already released a winmugen version, just check in the winmugen screen packs release section. :sugoi:

That's a team crossover move. It'd probably wouldn't be as effective with no one holding the opponent so Kazuya can land the uppercut. I haven't played SFxTekken, so idk if he's able to do this by himself. A way to make it work by himself though, would be to make the initial spinning start up to the uppercut an actual attack. Possibly hitting your opponent 3-4 times before delivering the final uppercut.

I'm not really mentioning mains, because I'm sure Axel is a given. In fact, I think he and Ryu may be the main rivalry aspect. At least, I think I saw that in the thread there. Though someone suggested it be Ryu/Akira for the main rivalry. Which is better IMO. Haggar vs. Max. Epic match up right there.

Sketch Turner! That's the Comix Zone guy's name lol. I had forgotten. Been way too long since I've played those classic games. CvS style eh? Sounds good and that's right up my alley too lol. Is Shinobi one of your WIPs? Or better yet, Hibana(NightShade). Cool, I'd like to see Akira's sprites. Who is Ryo Hazuki....? Also, if you're going to add Blaze Fielding, how about making her in her SoR1 outfit? The sprites done by Cap_Rock are pretty good... But, it looks more like Mai cosplaying Blaze, rather then it being Blaze herself. Just a suggestion. Though, we can knock Blaze out, for Shiva lol.

I had that idea of her MB. I even have that pic. Though, it may not be particularly the way to go for MB... IDK. As far as spending money.... It's really not that important.  :P I'd rather go without, then pay for it. I'm good. Paying for Skullo is as much money as I'm ever going to put into MUGEN. Thanks for the suggestion though.

I suppose, but I like it. It's not just a rehash of her kimono intro like with her SvC one. That's just an example of something different. I would use it, if someone made it.

Froz helped out with fixing up the sprite edits that Dampir sent me. JZ fixed up that frame for Mai's new win pose. Also Dampir said that he would touch them up himself once he had some free time. I don't sprite edit. I don't know anything about it. I can't even make an attempt, because I have no artistic talent what so ever. Shading, light source, all that stuff escapes me.  :(

Awesome! Sega ftw! Depending on who you have in mind for the roster, I may be willing to code a char or two for the project. I'd also like to give a few suggestions for chars....

-Comix Zone guy (don't know his name)
-Kazuma Kiryu (Yakuza)
-Shumnue (sp?)
-Sonic/Shadow (I'm sure you'll add them)
-Bayonetta
-Shiva (Streets of Rage/Burning Knuckle)
-Vectorman

I'd definitely be interested in coding Kazuma or Shiva if you plan on making/adding them to the roster. One last thing. Just a suggestion, but I'd stay away from too many Sonic/short animal chars. They just wouldn't match up very well in a crossover styled game such as this IMO. A few of them is fine, like the main brawlers of the series. Sonic/Shadow/Knuckles. Other than them, I really wouldn't waste time trying to add chars like Amy, Tails, Mighty, etc... Looking forward to hearing more about this.  :)

I am curious, did you ever find anyone to do the MB/Shock sprites for you for Mai as discussed per PM a long time back?

Unfortunately no. Though, I haven't really asked either. That stuff is actually unnessecary. While it would be nice, I'm not going to actively seek any of it out. And before anyone says I could just use Hero's MB sprites from his Mai... I personally don't like that MB pose. I know it's from SvC, but I'd like to have something more custom/original from someone's imagination. I saw someone here had a gif in their sig with Taizo Hori(Dig Dug) pumping up Mai's breasts until they got really big, lol. I like that outfit she had on in that gif. Something like that is what I'd like to use for her MB(giant breasts excluded of course).

Sounds good, but wouldnt you fire Charged Buster Shot by simply releasing the Z key?

That depends on the aspect/inspiration behind his reasons for making it that way. I believe in X4 you had the choice of getting two different upgraded X-busters...

-One fired a single giant plasma shot in the traditonal hold button/let it go manner. Releasing extra plasma energy on impact that continued to hit enemies even after the initial blast had gone.

-The other upgrade allowed X to store up to 3 smaller charged shots upon holding down the firing button. The blasts could be fired later on by just pressing the fire button, without charging.

He may be inspired by the latter. Which is cool and unique.

I haven't paid Sean fully yet. Only $20 this month. So he probably won't even be working on Skullo. Which I don't mind, I wasn't trying to interupt anything he had going on currently. Like Haggar and Rajaa's commission for his Rogue. I'm sure he can still take single sprite commissions like your Mario. There will be a lot of down time before Skullo really gets started, so that's not a issue.

Sean altly can you make a comssion of Street Fighter EX`s Kairi????? I have all of the codes of him done, but the sprites are of Reiji Oyama and they are not so good... I`m needing a "revamp" or a new spritepack!!!

I remember someone in your thread offered to make sprites for Kairi if you PM'd him about it. I believe it was the same spriter who sprited Kazuya Mishima. Probably wouldn't be a bad idea to hit him up as well.

Actually i saw this chunli when i was googling sfa chunli, and i found this thread: http://mugenguild.com/forumx/index.php?topic=118369.0

since the author says "WinMUGEN version no longer available", so as a matter of fact i assume that there used to be a winmugen version

Looks like it's just become 1.0 only since this May, and actually i can't help thinking that too bad it's only several days late i've just missed the winmugen version.

Ah, if that be the case, then someone may still have it... Though, it may not be very likely. The author himself may still have the older version... I usually keep older versions of my chars, just for comparison and all. Idk...  :-\
