No worries man, you just have to read... Everyone learns how to make things for Mugen by reading. You can too.


well I tried tutorials and all that but I just cant figure it out. I mean I would literally have to have someone walk me through it to learn it. You know by hands on experience.

Ok I have used this guy on GC and I have seen him in action and I now want him in mugen if anyone is up for it (he does need damage nerf since he kinda has lol1hitk.o. moves I.E. stick lance).

What I'm curious about is what you're doing here breaking the entire unspoken rule of private beta?? Meaning, if you're privately testing something, keeping your feedback private, you should be keeping your communication one on one. I had the liberty of testing out something rather phenomenal within the past 4 months, but I kept my feedback limited ONLY to the author who sent me his creation.

Going public with a private beta would destroy credibility in my opinion. Why did you announce this in the first place??

cuz hes not gonna be private .__. hes just gonna be unavailable to download until hes at around 85% or so completion. or so i have heard

Who's Dio? I don't know who the programmer is your're talking is; I don't know who the character you're talking about is; I don't know if the character has original sprites or comes from a fighting game; I don't know if the character is available for download or not.

I am completely lost. You need to provide information in your threads that allow them to be properly discussed, otherwise you get posts like the ones above that derail the thread and take away from what it could potentially be, if it could potentially be anything.

Dio is from grand chase and probably the reason you dont know of him is because there are no GC characters on MUGEn yet. He is most likely to be the first. Also I have provided a link to the game he is from so you can get a better grasp on what he is like. And the creator is making custom made sprites for him.

Ok I was trolled when i tested him lol heres what happened

1. Black space can pull your oppent to you all the way from the other side of the arena and is an instant kill even if you set health to 300%

2. Killzone it speaks for itself but ill say it anyway since it pins you down doing constant damage over a period of 9 seconds

3. Necrotic takes almost all of your health away

4. Blink its Dio's teleportation skill which normally would consume special bar but did not in this case and can be spammed like crazy to easily avoid any attack

5. His A.I. is already Godly so he blinks right before you hit him as if he knows what your going to do before you do it >_>

all this said the only good thing about it is I was trolled cuz he is only 30% complete and thats not how he is going to be when he is completely finished, he is still glitchy too mssing some attack frames. But yea defenitely will need that nerf on him. Which from what I have heard will be put into place. He is also going to have an EX mode as well, what he will get from that im not sure but im sure it will be pretty cool. But dont worry for thos of you who are thinking OP char hes not gonna be another rare akuma lol.

I have played mugen kinda online with others using teamviewer the only thing is OP chars :P this could be handled by what i sugested using multiple servers that some servers would not allow characters such as Rare Akuma, Nightmare Broli and so on. Or they could just add an IP feature kind of like touhou which lets you connect directly to a friend to netplay. So it would be between you and your friend on that.

Unless there were a way to i dunno set it to where you cant use specific characters online? Like they could have servers you could join, one could be for the lulz so you could use rare akuma and then there could be legit ones that would lock out the cheap OP lol 1 hit kill chars leaving only the chars that acutally require skill to use.

I thought they were done too, but seeing that Dio might make an appearnace sparked my interest. If he doesnt get fin in time for tourney tho -ragequit face- >_>

well i posted this here for two reasons, for one was cuz of Dio and two was cuz of the A.I. tourney. I didnt know if the A.I. tourney part would go with W.I.P. but I would love to see dio in action on Mugen. Hopefully he will be nerfed tho because the game he comes from when he was first released he was lol1hitkill all the time until he got nerfed on there.
