Now what?
What would be the next step if you were doing a normal stage? Coding the sprites/stage. (Ignore my previous post i misinterpreted the title)

Have you tried plugging it on another computer? You never know...
I have an external hard drive that doesn't have a name on the laptop i'm using but it does on others.

Noticed the tilespacing parameter? they have 1 at the end, change that to 0 and no more pillars :) . i'm not sure if it changes something important but it works  ;D.

I think the sprites copy themselves with 1 pixel of distance between each other.

All of my character have their own stage.
Are you sure that the stage exists in mugen/stages? Even if it exists, does it work? make sure it works.
Oh btw do any other chars have  this problem? you said all have their own stage.

Well if that's true then remove any other stage assignment besides sakura's one or add the same to all (not the best option) because you don't have priority for stages.

What?
Order has nothing to do with stages, It has to do with what characters are chosen in arcade mode or team mode by the order number.

And that's exactly what i want. (Of course I made it in VS ). The Stage will be LUMINANCE_CITY when Sakura be a player 1.
So what are you asking exactly?

You don't want the stage to be luminance city when she is player 1? or is it 2?

1. Add a stage in select.def under [ExtraStages] make it look like this:

And you'll be able to select a different stage!

2. I'm not sure if I understand.
You said that when you have Sakura as p2, stage A will appear and your question is how to make stage A appear when she's p1.
You can't because it's always the opponent stage, p2 (I suppose). Unless you have only one stage in your stages directory.

I think it only works with Truetype font. You have to open the the .def of the truetype font then, in the Size parameter, only change the second value.
If you want the same font with different sizes for different screens you'll have to copy the fonts and use different sizes for them.

Thanks for answering but that's the thing, when i do that the title screen is normal but the select screen is doubled in size while everything looks ok in winmugen.
I'm far from an expert but what i would do is rebuild it using 1.0! move graphics,  sounds and everything then probably you need to upscale to a higher resolution at least 640x480 Its a big job but is possible I do not think is an easy way to do it
Yeah i guess it's the best thing to do. But wait why rebuilt it? i'll just re size the title screen stuff to make it fit, that was the problem in the first place.

I was just looking for an easy way out  :sugoi:.

It doesn't work like that. Just put this "font4 = badaboom.fnt" under font3: , then go to [Win Screen] in system.def (use the search function Ctrl+F) and change "wintext.font" to "wintext.font = 4,0,0".

This is very simple, remember the example i gave you? well everything in the screenpack that holds font in the name has three values like "title.font = 1,0,0" for the options screen. Say you want to have font 6 for that screen, change 1 to 6 "title.font = 6,0,0" (Ok i'm not really sure about this but it sure changes the font)

Here's a trick: Comment the fonts and see the changes. (or switch the fonts)
Alternatively change the three values in the lines that have font in the name and see the changes


font3 = jg.fnt corresponds to this in  default mugen

It doesn't matter where you put the because it is specified in
Code:
title.font = 1,0,0
for example, where 1 is the number of the font offont1.
To get the default order, download mugen again!

Hello mugen community

Is there is a way to convert a winmugen screenpack to 1.0 without modifying the sff?
The Select Screen Background appears to be doubled in size while the title screen is "original" sized.
