Pikol's amazing discovery of the dam was THE secret of secrets. Nothing else topped that.

Things like the beta mountains and various other unfinished terrain showed how much more massive the overworld originally was before they axed the other colossi.

thats not it either.

The stages ending with "remastered" are the archived ones I believe. I've been looking for those myself since I lost all my mugen stuff and have been rebuilding it slowly. I've been reluctant to request his stuff because I know about that guy's history here and around the community.

Dishonored.
Very fun and there's alot of freedom and numerous variations on how you can complete missions. I highly recommend it.
SvC forbids me from doing things that are usually in most games, that's why I hate it.

^ see? it could go either way.

LOVE THE SPRITES THOUGH. Except Akuma's, and probably Sagat's face.

I agree about the sprites. Imo SNK did a better job with Demitri than Capcom themselves.

Resident Evil 6. The technical problems abound (online lag, annoying cut-scene transitions, building textures flat-out disappearing, etc). The game lacks ANY sort of creepy/or horror factor that you'd expect in a RE game (hell even RE5 had some of that) and the lack of innovation, shitty overcomplicated controls, and camera (probably the worst camera mechanics of any recent RE game) make it a bad action game.

It's a solid Fuck you Capcom/10.

Resident evil stopped being good the second Mikami walked out on Capcom.

fixed.

Ok. So far after playing it for almost six hours I can say that I liked 5 better. That's right, Resident Evil 5.

-The camera is the worst of any RE game.
-Melee sucks. I miss the headshot/melee combo mechanic of 4 and 5, performing a chain combo with your partner, as well as when weakening a powerful enemy doing a special powerful melee attack. Now it's shoot them 2-3 times in the head and hope to do a bulldog.
-Shooting/aiming is not as tight as the last two games.
-The R1 counter window is way too small especially if you can't see the enemy well because of the said shitty camera and sometimes it doesn't even show up at all when it's supposed to, making it entirely unsafe.
-The player lost alot of invincibility frames that added fun and strategy to previous games, while the enemies gained a cheap amount. It seems like they can't be hit out of anything, especially when meleeing.
-I also don't like the fact that you are forced to play a boring sp segment the moment you start the game.
-ALL MY OPINION OF COURSE.

I'd have to agree as well on 2. 4 is a great evolution of the game but if I had to chose which one to play first I'd pick 2 before 4. Only because the suspense is still entirely there. In 4 I felt it some but it wasn't the same as the zombies attacking you from the windows as you walk down the hallway.

Oh don't get me wrong I love RE4, it's probably my third favorite RE game (after 3).

GT gave it an 8.8. I tend to trust them more than other gaming sites.

I also think REmake is the best in the series because it brought back the feeling of playing RE1 for the first time, yet managed to be legitimately scary as opposed to "I'm a 7 year old playing the game at night where I have balanced intervals of laughing at the hokey acting and nearly shitting my pants because FUCKING DOBERMANS"
REmake just nailed what RE1 was supposed to be and I loved every single moment of it, plus the GC controller manages to make the tank controls extremely tolerable. It was a legit masterpiece IMHO.

The only thing that could have been better was an RE2 remake (RE2 is the best in the series imo). We'll probably never see it though.

Harada blasts the live action tekken and says he couldn't supervise the making of the film and then comes back with Blood Vengeance, a joke of a girly movie, which he definitely presided over. Well done Harada-san. :downsbravo:

Played both the Dragon's Dogma demo and the public demo. The public demo was all around better than the DD demo. Leon's scenario in the DD demo is a joke, there is ZERO action; you're just walking around. The Ustanak fight in Jake's is ruined by the fact that you have to worry about tons of enemies shooting at you while trying to focus on the Ustanak WHILE being in a cramped area. It's like having to fight Nemesis while getting shot at by a shitload of zombies. No fun.

I also feel that in terms of controls this game has a slight case of twisted metal syndrome.

That lady and the church that let her "restore" the painting should be seriously reprimanded. It's not funny or cute. Someone put alot of time and effort into that painting and that lady destroyed it. I'd have them fined and issue a formal apology to the family of the painter.

Just my opinion of course.
