Oh yeah, you're right. I should've thought of that.

Also you're having ideas to make other POTS styled characters? I'd love to see you take on Ibuki/Dudley or make POTS' old styled Sakura into his new style.

I really like to do that, I might do Dudley or Gen first though. Ibuki is a little too complex for me. For Sakura, I might downsize her movelist a bit and it would generally resemble SF4. Again, I don't know when will this happen.

In SF3, I think gouki can combo his SGS, so I just thought about it

Also totally pipe dream suggestion but have you tried implementing the SFxTK version of Misogi?

I haven't but I've got an idea about it. Either I'll add it as a new level 3 for the new super movelist or a team super with ryu. But still I don't know when's that going to happen.

I'll be uploading updates this week concerning what have been said in the past post. And I have great amount of ideas about what should I do for mugen. But I'm lacking incentives and I don't know what to do next. Just to let all you guys know what I would do, I made a poll asking which would I do next. You can vote or persuade me to work faster. lol :P

Change of subject, should Shin Gouki's Shun Goku Satsu be combo-able?

-Do you mean cancelling the move before it hits the opponent?? SGS is the only super that can do that as far as I know.
-It does connect. You should time it right because Air Tatsumaki knocks the opponent higher than ground Tatsumaki.
-I've used warusaki3 as reference for that. So I might no change it anyway.
Ryu
-Alright, whatever. :P
-Evil Ryu's air Tatsumaki is totally different from Gouki's. It doesn't reset the juggle points like Gouki's so that combo won't work.
-I think it should. Because C Axe Kick is unsafe on block at some point. Canceling it to a super, like Shinkuu Hadoken for example, can help him get out of the disadvantage safely for the sacrifice of a super bar. Also, you can do more cheap damage. Or just give me more reason to reconsider.

Just when I thought there wouldn't be any replies to this post anymore. Anyways. :P

Ryu:
-I just realized that Shin Shoryuken doesn't seem to allow juggles afterwards any more.
-I've also noticed that his juggles after Reppuu Jinrai Shou are a but too limited for my liking. Maybe he could connect with a Joudan Sokuto Geri afterwards?
-I don't think Shin Shoryuken's third hit should have the awesome circle FX on it. It's too close to the fourth hit and they're both pretty much the same hit, anyways.
-Maybe you could just have Master mode have the FX on the Shoryukens? It'd help give him a sense of being powerful.
-Nidan Shouryuu Tsuki doesn't have the chain to Shin Shoryuken (it's useless even in normal mode anyways) in Master mode, you might want to make mention of that in the readme.
-P2 can air recover after Hadouken hits them in the air.
-Nidan Shouryuu Tsuki should do less damage than Messatsu Gou Shoryu, they're too similar especially in Master mode.

-Yeah, I definitely intended that. But would think to reconsider because of Ryu's Shin Shoryuken in MVC3 where you can juggle a shinkuu hadoken afterwards. But then again, Shin Shoryuken depletes all gauges and it's simply too damaging to allow anymore juggles afterwards.
-Well, I've also noticed that too. The fact that it resets the juggle points to 1 on the last hit is the reason why I've made it more strict. And you could connect that with LK Joudan and I thought you'd like it better for the MK and HK joudan to be combo enders. But I'll do something about it.
-Okay.
-You really like it that way, dontcha. I'll see what I can do. If I could find better FX for the shoryukens, then I'll add it to all modes.
-I can still do it in normal mode. If juggled then, it doesn't.

-I should really think about that.

And Shin Gouki super cancelling lvl 1 to lvl 1 is intentional. (didn't I mention it in the changelogs?) same reason as what the argument above had said. And I'd really like it to have the old versions of POTS' character feel with these edits.

That's because Evil Ryu have a different type of tatsumaki. It is intended to be quite similar to CVS.

Yes, but it allows juggling even if all the hits connect.

That is my month-old-problem. I've tried what I can to change that without affecting the juggling or the gameplay that I want. At least, it only happens against opponents with larger hurtboxes.

Gouki:
-Shin Mode's Hyakki Shu still goes too fast.
-If P2 immediately ground recovers, Hyakki Gou Dan's second hit whiffs. Also, I think its second hit should OTG to help differentiate it from Hyakki Gou Shou as long as you decrease its damage to help trade off benefits.
-It's intentional that Shin mode's taunt doesn't OTG, right?
-Is juggling after B Tatsu intentional?
-I think there should be a slightly longer delay between Shin mode's Zankuu Hadouken's firings.
-SF4 Far C in normal mode still whiffs its second hit on some opponents.
-Zugai Hasatsu is -1 on hit.
Ryu:
-Why doesn't he have the trail on any of his Z Shoryukens? I remember Normal and Evil having them in SSF4.
-Master Mode's vocal for Ryuu Koku Hadou Ken should be the same he uses for Shinkuu Hadouken.

-Well, do you prefer it to be the same as normal Gouki's?
-2nd hit does OTG, But I'll go take a look at it.
-It does OTG. Wonder why it doesn't OTG for you.

Here you go, one is Light shaded and the other dark shaded.

I think that the last thing that someone can help, is to teach to this guy how to edit the EX flash (and I don't remember if the Custom Combo has the same treatment)

I can learn it on my own, I was just being lazy. I'll edit it if it meant a lot to (all of) you.

Evil Ryu has the same issue with the aura.

Oh, that's easy. It's the same as Akuma's aura, so just apply the palette to that, and you're all set.

I almost forgot, there's a hint of blue in the auras, but only one. Just change that to match, and everything's good.

The aura doesn't fit Evil Ryu IMO. But I'll apply the red aura instead and see if it looks good enough.

-Evil Ryu's EX Tatsumaki sends the opponent flying forward. You could use that for Akuma.
I've already adjusted Akuma's Ex Tatsumaki - It still knocks opponent behind. And I've changed Normal Ryu's to be identical to Evil Ryu.

-Normal Akuma's air projectile is not paletted right.
Yeah, I've noticed that recently. I won't be uploading soon (having problems on the super finish font >:c ) so you should just check the "shared pallete"on the first sprite of the projectile.

On another side note, I made Akuma's Aura different colored, specifically warusaki's colors. I could send you the sprites for it if you want, separation included.


Also, I made this for Evil Ryu.


Cool. but, is that a different sprite from warusaki's. 'Cause warusaki's is kind of pixelated that's why I didn't use them.

And yes, I would really love it if you to send your works. :D

Seems a bit clearer, but I think it could stand to use a bit of extra cleaning. It's quite nice aside from that.

It never knocked P2 behind you in SF4 unless you juggled into it in a weird way.

Yes it does for Gouki, I've always played him on SF4 but in SSF4, mostly the ex tatsu knocks the opponent forward. It only knocks the opponent behind if you're too far away.

They do correspond, however, there aren't either periods, or their not exactly right from the actual game. I'll list them below for you to change them to.
Gouken's is fine.

Also, I've been thinking about the current Kanji logo on Normal Mode. It's cool and all, but on some palettes such as the SFZ Cream, it shows up invisible.
Perhaps what you can do is make a config to what type of Kanji the people would like to use for him.
EX. 0 would make it CvS Styled, and 1 would make it SF4 Styled.

Oh yeah, thanks for the real win quotes. Though, the quote from the intro of boss evil ryu against player evil ryu sounds better. (From SSF4 ae)

Hmm. Maybe ill add the other kanji from warusaki's. It may signify whether your Sf4 or CVS mode. I think I'll add it.

And for the donkey kick argument. I do like it being super cancelable but I too agree that it outclass tatsumaki. So here's what I'm going to do: donkey kick is still super cancelable but juggle points would be higher for medium and hard version. E.g. z joudan > shinku hadoken. Possible but shinku hadoken will miss a hit or two.

Forgot to add these on my previous post:
-I think I've noticed the word "Counter" during Kongoshin appears bellow Gouken instead of on the opponent during counter hit.
-Won't you add to Denjin Hadoken? Where you can mash any direction buttons which will make Denjin Hadoken to charge faster.
-I'm pretty sure C.MP should be blocked low instead of C.MK like in SF4
