I also rescaled luffy and now he looks a lot better. Cause the OPG2 sprites have different proportions then OPGB

lol. @ xasor. i totally get it. im quite the fan of making flashy effects! long live porygon!
lol. I even reduced some of it and it still lags my laptop a bit when I'm on a hi res stage

- Basic attacks are misaligned. Feet should stay in place. For example, on s.LK, the back foot should be static.
- s.SK can be performed 4 times in a row on a cornered opponent, for big damage.
- Z (ki blast) is misaligned. It should come out from the middle of Cell's hand, Y-wise.
- Some envshake when Ki Blast hits would be nice.
- Why isn't the upserpause during kamehameha when Cell charges, with some Ki effects and lightning around his hands as he charges ?
- He can chain his taunt into itself, having the voice played several times.
- No super jump ? Nor air dash ?

-I can't make them stay in place since he has like four or five attacks and some of them are air attacks I recycled them and tried to expand them as much as I can
-Yeah, but if you do a juggle with different attacks it does the same damage anyway
-Lol good eye, but I need to do that since the enemy can't jump over the projectiles
-Yeah, maybe in an update
-Cause I want the enemy to scramble and try to defend himself while I prepare the solar kamehameha
-Just some minor problem
-And I guess you haven't read the movelist I made a new and smoother movement system for DBZ characters

ill tell u one thing. its flashy as F@#!#! lol. i like the charge-up while airborne. my only beef is the yellow aura explod that remains when cell's in the gethit states. i dont think its needed IMO.

LOL :D I think I got a lil carried away with the FX since I haven't been using hi res effects since I made chibi characters.


Some things need some fixing but those are really smooth animations, good job on that :)

Also, shouldn't Cell's hands be glowing then he does a kamehameha charge?

What do you mean, the solar or the regular one ?

I just found an old WIP of my cousin. I made the basics and tried to give it to my cousin cause he said he wanted to learn how to code but he did not even finish it so I will finish it. I need to make a little bit of side projects like the hulk I released cause

If I continue working with Luffy everyday and night I might get tired of him and abandon the project so I just need to mix it up.

As I said before don't state the obvious. I have zero spriting skills so I just used scale2x(read above). I tried reaching out to spriters but they would rather do some random orochi character. No sprites no character but I want to have normal sized one piece characters in my roster. Sorry to disappoint you and all the other people who will be on the sprites but no spriter will help me so i will help myself and make non chibi characters

@Sanji,   don't do that bro its his opinion don't bash it I was just explaining why I just use scale2x

@Zankai99,   No man I was referring to the sprites not the gameplay

@kfrteam,  I can't do that man cause he will become cheap, that's why most of his attacks push him forward and when he does kenboushoku dash he can't be hit like a counter punch but when he does the punch if you time it perfectly you can hit luffy, you can also chain it with any standing attack then do juggles etc. I'll make a combo video soon and you will see its not a problem

Its good, but I was hoping more aerial combos since he is the "heavenly demon". I also have your Blackbeard in my roster. Which was very creative on how you made black hole and liberation work. Good job b(-_-) more normal size OP chars for mugen

Anyway.....

I'm testing the Kenbunshoku Dash, you can cancel it to a normal standing attack or let it finish to a armament haki punch. It also dodges all the enemies attacks so you can get through projectiles and spammy AI. I'm done with the basics and the combos, now I'm moving on to make the hypers namely,

Anyway I think I'm missing some attacks like stamp gatling and jet whip and hammer. Guys If you could do me a favor and download the sprite from here http://spritedatabase.net/file/14455 and upload it to sendspace and give it to me. @Zkej Haha kahit 5 mos late reply salamat bro, ginawa ko yan si WB dahil badtrip talaga ako sa chibi. Eh mahilig ako sa anime pero nakita ko lang na maganda yung mga z2 characters at yung gawa nila Stormex at choujin. Yung iba mahirap maghanap.

No man I really get what your trying to say and yeah, It really bothers me how his mouth turned out but my spriting really sucks ass I have zero spriting talent so this will do

If you guys want it I can make a gear second mode
Of course we all want it! Don't forget to add Busoshoku Haki Third Gear aswell, that can be his super move.


Sure it could be nice to having it. Like I said he have so much moves you can split them up between normal & GS mode, give each mode different specials and supers and such. Luffy fighting style is full of moves so there is no limit of what you can do with character as long you have sprites for it. I don;'t know what others will say but I;m centrainly want him to have big movelist for any situation and as long any move is usefull you should put it in.

There is no other "big" Luffy so you could go ahead and make him limitless.

So I will make two move sets for normal mode and gear second. That would be better than the on the fly gear second while making combos as my firsy idea. I'm a little rusty on transformations but I still have my old Luffy with gear second so it will be pretty easy
