Wait, and what have you done, Xperiments? The stages?
If not, then this is a compilation, and compilations don't belong in this section (they belong to MUGEN Discussion).
i never placed it here i placed this in the project section as i stated before i made everything  you see in these
pics that includes fonts and life bars etc......,please do some research before you make assumptions

sure adriano heres all the rips minus the original screenshots which is another 1gb but feel free to do whatever you like with them...i made this for myself and I am just sharing evrything i can
without learning a new program i took the screen shots and resized them to 320 x240 so if you need to add sprites to the chars all you gotta do is resize the image like i did

i could'nt fit all of dxwho chars his are 50mb each...and sendspace has a limit of 300mb
if i can find something to upload 1gb or more without signing up or joining another forum to do it i will so far i don't know any...but the ones i did include are his latest

Kasumi Vortek Gold 20th anniversary

Here is progress on this project,it has turned out to be a larger project then originally planned,I originally just wanted to be able to play one char from kasumi ninja against another from ultra vortek,but i had alot of ideas and it's becoming never ending,I hope to finish this someday but for now it is still unfinished and sloppy,like i said my chars are just kfm sprite swaps with fatalities and brutalities,then i decided to make my own char which is unfinished,a 7 headed dragon that i had brought to life from two pictures i drew 20 years ago,and thanks to dxwho and his experience and and my own experimenting we have made this a reality,I had to leave out some of dxwho chars due to the char size and limitations of sendspace,it unzips to about 900mb and the full roster with his left out chars brings the size to about 1.5gb
sorry i still have some sloppy stages some i make just to remind me,of an idea i had

mugen is'nt my thing,I am more into fps mapping and 3D modeling,i hope to return to it soon

if you would like to take it over and have alot of experience like dxwho pm me and i can send you all that i have ripped

full game update includes:
ninjas now have swords
more stages
more sounds
all my chars have improved intros
more chars
different color blood on some chars
all fatality animations
updated AI(all that blocking and cpu now does brutals and fatals thanks to dxwho)

feel free to make a youtube video as i don't have time.

I know it has alot of problems that's why i posted it in the project section.thanks for trying it

i don't know how to fix the fatality time,the time it takes after you do a fatal to the time fatality sign shows up,I lack the experience to know what to look for

Here's some progress on this it's about 70% complete

finished intro for now
updated chars added more to(still needs a little work)
added more stages(still needs some fixed and made)
added intros for most chars
added 1 brutality for all mine
added 1 fatality for all mine
you can do a brutal then a fatality(i know it's glitchy i kinda like it)
fixed arcade mode (you can now play to the boss guardian

to do a brutal tap D,D
to do a fatal tap F,F

sorry it looks a bit sloppy i keep jumping around(when i think of something i drop what i'm doing)
all the chars finish quick to test the fatalities(i haven't figured out how to fix the Fatality time yet)
i should complete this in 3 or 4 months maybe sooner

thanks for the feedback here`s some more pics on an update before i go offline,i will make alot of changes within the next 3 or 4 months and i will release a somewhat playable version i need to resize habaki,habaki is the only one for now that has a fatality i could give him a simple head decap,i don`t know yet have'nt decided on it and don't know how i could duplicate the original fatality,I'll have to go back to it later after i make more chars,i`m still trying to figure out
where to replace kfm sprites.it says annihilation time but the announcer says "show no mercy" as in kasumi ninja i`m trying to make a balanced combination of the two.

Here`s an updated roster i just had to show,i`m using someone elses p.c. until i can afford internet again.I added more chars,expanded the roster,i animated the eye in the center,Don`t know if there is a way to make the eye follow the action just like in Ultra Vortek.I added more stages with multiple versions.Much more animations all around such as
on the select screen with the fire,a longer intro,i finalized lifebars and much more.When i`m ready to release it i will explain more of what i changed and added to the chars.

this is some progress i made on this it`s originally dxwho screen pack. I`m taking over the project now.I`ll be offline for about a few months or so
but when i get back online i should have like a demo the chars i made are just kung fu man with swapped sprites i`ll have fatalities when i can learn how right now i`m focused on getting more stages and chars, hope you like it so far







    

2 Stages(Kasumi Ninja) plus extra

Well i ripped some more stages,I made different versions,the Kasumi stage sounds have a little static,Gyaku Stage is the final stage before the final battle with Demon Gyaku.I`m trying to get all the stages and make a full game,Anyone is welcome to do whatever they want with my rips,and or sprites.And I`m also working on my first char "Habaki"so far i  swapped the sprites with kfm and made some combos out of the specials and swapped for the kasumi ninja sounds.I'm not sure when I'll finish him,I can`t figure out how to make the annoucer say "habaki Wins" where do i put the type =plysnd code at,or what am i doing wrong can someone tell me,the last pics are just an idea.

Well here's my third stage from this game i still need to animate Stormbringer now that i know  what i`m doing somewhat.I know these were too complicated to learn for an inexperienced person like myself but i did 'nt want to waste my time on something simple,I am after all a 42 year old man.But anyway I could'nt decide on the right sky texture so i made two versions.I did however manage to animate the eyes and also slight head movement,which was`nt in the original, i think you guys call it source I could be wrong,I believe the whole point in making a mugen version is to add or improve on the original.If you like my work and would like to make a contribution to the "Kasumi Vortek" cause PM me.If you have some spare time to make chars or stages let me know, i`m currently working on about 5 or six stages.

Earthquake Zone ver1(Ultra Vortek)

this is my second vortek stage it took me a lot longer then my previous because i had to learn how to animate it and i could`nt have picked a tougher one too.but anyway i could`nt rip the original subway train from the game so i added the one from MK3 the subway,it fits perfect.i was gonna leave it out until i found the mk3 one.And for the life of me i can`t figure out why the top is glitchy when you jump i changed all the top and bottom values and only made it worse.,i call all my stages version 1 so i can later fix anything after i know a little more of what i`m doing, keep in mind i only learned how to do this a few months ago.Sorry if it`s not perfect,I did the best i could with what was available.If you can rip the original subway train from this game let me know.

Pakawa Stage v1(Kasumi Ninja)Animated

This is my first Animated stage i hope everyone likes what i`ve done to it.I had a hard time ripping the stage and was going to piece it together,but dxwho got a good rip for me minus the fire and horse and my own version of the ufo on mk1 pit.And after learning to animate i came up with this.

I`m sorry ,i did`nt mean for it to sound that way,I know you were just helping.I just thought that i made it clear that this was something that i`m still learning.and did`nt go any further in improving this.Until i learn the skies animation(purple sky moving and lightning strikes)maybe i should have called it an alpha or beta.oh,wait a beta is something thats tested first(i learned that from mapping)maybe an alpha.Would that have sounded better.Again sorry to come across to you like that.Thanks for the help and advice.

That`s why i called it version 1 and not a second or final version,it took about a week to rip this,i`m here to share something that others don`t have.I still want to animate the sky.like i said you are more then welcome to make a better version.

Then why has no one else ripped these.to animate the sky what do i need to do with this stage.tutorials don` apply to this stage, correct me if im wrong,there are three openings for the sky

any time you go from millions of colors to 256 of course theres going to be color loss.to me blurred looks better then pixelated.you are more then welcome to make a better version.

Heres my first ultra vortek stage.this was a tough one but its my favorite from the game.i will try to make all the stages for both games then i plan to go back to them to animate them when i reach a point to where i feel more confident in doing so.Right now i`ve got alot ideas just a matter of time to make those a reality.With help from dxwho and i guess i can call it some support.I want to make this "Kasumi Vortek" a reality.In 1994 and 1995 it was only a dream to combine these two games together,if only mugen was there back then who knows what would be made now.I had this idea few years ago and since few found interest in it i felt i should make some type of contribution to it.so i decided to make some stages.since i did`nt see these stages anywhere else.I`m still a newb at this so bear with me its not perfect.But i believe its close enough.I`ve got pics from the mugen version and the atari jaguar version,just for you to compare.I had to make some slight changes to the floor.But i`ve had enough of this stage and i want to move to the next.

oops,lol did`nt know there was a release section then again did`nt know i was ever gonna release anything,i kept it here because i was posting everything else here.The only jaguar emulator that even works for me is virtual jaguar,i had the same problem with entering the codes,to get demon gyaku.Although i did find out a way to play against demon.I use paint shop pro to make the stages.the sounds are the best i could get from the virtual jaguar.I dont know maybe it has something to do with the screen size.I`m currently working on angus,alaric and pakawa,and pakawas stage as well.Like i said this is the only games i will rip,after i get enough from kasumi ninja then i`ll go back to ultra vortek.I`ve started ripping mercury and buzzsaw,and a couple stages.I piece these maps together.Then again untill theres a better one this is the only one in the world.If you can rip better sounds post them.way i see it any sound is better then no sound.only reason i`m doing this is because know one else wants to.  if you know a better emulator please let me know.it gets blurry when you go from millions of colors to 256 colors i think.
