System Info: ( will be updated for more accurate info)
OS:Win Xp Prof.
RAM:256
HD:20GB
Graphics:S3G 14mb mem
Proc. 1.4

I recently got Mugen to work on this system and have duplicated the situation to get Mugen running on systems that seemed to have video issues; with Mugen.

When Windows is booting up press the F8 key you should see an option to "Enable VGA mode".

Turn this option on go into windows as normal and then set you desktop resolution back to the way you had it, run mugen and hopefully your problem is fixed.

Easy solution for a problem that was a big pain in the ass. Hopefully many others in the Guild will solve there WinXp video problems this way for Mugen.

Also I enable VGA on another one of my freinds system that has no problem running Mugen on there Xp (Home) sytem and Mugen seemed to run alot smoother. On top of that GTA1 now runs when I enable VGA mode for WinXp. So this may fix other issues for dos video problems.

Well thats enough from me l8trz.

maybe he didn't read the mugen docs? and he figured it out on his own we must not forget what may be common knowledge to some is absolute gray area for others. i'm sure he wouldn't have posted if he didn't think it could help others. also don't forget we tend to know a whole lot and it takes someone telling us what we allready know to spark an idea or memory, that or he wasted our 5 sec. to read his post.
