Vans can code a real person if he wants (?) No kidding, you're wrong eliott, he can do the same. I don't want to offense R@CE, but he should listen to what Vans has to say. This characters doesn't work like Tizoc, and I know all the lines about custom stuff and bla bla bla, but this just doesn't play right.

Hey R@CE, I didn't test the character that much, but I would like to give some feedback about this and your others characters. It has much to do with the gameplay of them, so what I want to know if you will pay attention or you'll quote the things about the custom stuff.

- For now, I guess you should change the scale to:

Based on Inf's scale.

- And you also should change is main palette :| Garou color clashes with the rest of Infinite Styled characters.

I hope you don't take it wrong. I tell you with respect, but you tend to be quite explosive when people criticize your work.

Drex's color separation it's really detailed. You should use it.

Hope you can convert the FXs to hi-res, for not clash with the rest of POTS cast. Ice FXs are a pain on the ass to edit, I read that you're gonna use XIII FXs, but as I see low-res sprites on the template, I recommend you to be very careful mixing them.

Good luck :) put effort and attention on the project, Kula it's a really cool character.

The FXs of this one aren't bad, actually, I think they're pretty cool. Maybe making the FXs more darker on the Juri palette could be a solution.

Quickfist ask for aligned sprites, and I did aligned all the .sff for him. I spent time doing it, and after that I admit that I want to code K'. I start to do it after that, doing all the basic stuff. There's a reason why I invited Quickfist to join the project. I will not disclose it.

He passes me his codes for Black Out, and honestly felt we were going in different ways. Don't want to criticize his code since I'm not the best coder. The truth is that in the division of specials/super, I felt Quickfist grabbed the easiest and coolest moves. I did all the basic stuff, align the sprites, convert the FXs... And the bored/"hard" to code specials D; I felt I was going to get bored with the character. I fail to my commitment and started to code other specials and supers.

And well, I'm a bit coward and waited until last night when he PMed me to tell him the truth. I'm unfair, I know. Anyway, I was thinking on send you the .sff with all the custom FXs (still doesn't convert the Hyper Chain Drive ones), but honestly, this attitude has been bothering me. If you're going to quit mugen, you doesn't need to do this drama :(

I don't think that you actually are going to stop making characters, I guess you're doing this to get attention. I'm pretty sure that you're gonna code characters again. But the truth, make this a public issue is quite... Well, childish, I guess.

K' has all his Specials and EX Specials coded. Heat Drive and his MAX variants are also coded. I'm working fast on K', but I don't want to rush the character, I would like to add some surprises for him.

Actually yes, Is not the same pause from CvS2, but it has the pause effect, yes :)

Hey, I'm working on fix some issues that senorfo pointed me. He tested the character a lot, and found some things related to the dampener and combos :) Haohmaru will be nerfed for the next update, but I honestly don't know when it will be ready. One reason is the time, I've been busy lately, the other reason is that I'm working on another character. Not Genjuro, he'll be the next.

Maybe I hang a video on my WIP thread in a few of hours.

Will you add the typical "Zetsumei Ougi" music from Samurai Shodown V?

Sorry for not answer you the first time! No, I'm not gonna add it, sorry :(
If you notice in source, there's a big gush of blood spraying from the opponent the moment the Rasetsumaru crushes the heart. You can use the cannibal corpse blood animation from the same Vice for that. Oh and a juicy sound for the blood squirting out like from source. Also you forgot to include the negative versions of the blood explods from Jmorph's Vice. The colored version of the explod layers over the negative version of the explod to thicken the transparency so the blood doesn't look like crystal lite.

Another idea is Ougon Musou Kyoku because the blood sparks are literally hi-res edits of Samurai Shodown blood.
Nice! Thanks for telling me about Ougon Musou Kyoku. I added edited the effects from that game, based based on Rasetsumaru's Blood  Effects on SSV.

A friend of mine tried him out and he has this to say

- Why is Ougi: Resshin Zan and it's EX version super cancel-able if the super can't hit the opponent?
- His damage dampener looks to be inconsistent as there are situations to where it doesn't look to apply
     - One example is J. HP, HK, EX Ougi: Resshin Zan (x2) does 435 damage (with no dampener on Ougi: Resshin Zan)
     - Another one is J. HP, MK, EX Ougi: Senpuu Retsu Zan, EX Ougi: Kogetsu Zan, EX Ougi: Resshin Zan does 463 damage.  That's 2 damage less than what his Lvl.3 does at half the meter cost.


Say thank you to your friend :)! I'm not very good with the combos, so I can't replicate them at all. I'll PM in a minute with an new version to test, since you're pretty good comboing.

Fixed both issues. Thanks for tell me about training, I do have the character but I never know about his projectiles. That will be really helpful for testing!

About dodge attacks, now dodge kick is close MK, which is cancelable in both modes, and dodge slash will be close SP, knocking down the opponent if PrevStateNo = 700 :p I'll update the character tonight, because maybe you or someone found new bugs.
