I'm making a char for my game who has the power to control gravity. I wanna give him a combo string that uses invisible waves in the air to trash P2 around. The combo would be: Horizontal attack to push him away, a remote uppercut to send him up, and an attack to smash him into the ground. The char does the motions with his body but the attacks are all remote. How would I code this?
So I started doing pixel art yesterday. I want to learn how to sprite so I can make my game. I'll show what I do here. I'd appreciate any feedback you have and even more if you point me in the direction of a good tutorial for spriting.

Yes, it's Terumi from BlazBlue, like I said, I can't make sprites, that's why I need a spriter. Right now I color an existing character like the character from my story I want to make and code him with my gameplay
Iridiscents The Game - Original Story Project (Looking for help)
Heya. Ok so I've been working on this for the past 2 days, it's a fullgame based on my own intelectual property, a book I'm writing called "Iridiscents", there are several chapters online on my personal blog in spanish, but I will make an english version. I'm looking for people to form a development team, coders, screenpack maker, and most importantly spriters, I don't know how to make sprites. My goal with this is make a good fighting game that I can sell on steam, that's why I need original sprites, the money earned through sales will be split among the development team. Of course I'm also looking for beta testers for all the feedback I can get. Here's a video.
Hey, gave him a first short test, trying out the system and some combos. I love it, he's super fun, the gameplay system is very well done and implemented. Some things I found: -The timing is a bit strict for the air juggle/combos, Couldn't get to land the air super mid-combo most of the times. The specials work in a way that's a bit hard to connect them. -The launcher doesn't hit some characters, it hits Ryu but not EB Base Goku by Vyn. Haven't tested on more. -The air smash almost never hits after the air normals, IDK if it's only on Ryu and it works on others tho. -Can't figure out what to do with the dash burst, it would be interesting if it tracked, but maybe it works like you want it and I just can't, well, figure it out.
Can't remember anything else rn. I'll test him again tomorrow. He's pretty solid and fun so far. Can't wait for the finished version, and the others.
Ok this character is pretty amazing. Already one of my favorites. He has decent normals, instead of a ki blast he has power pole moves. The best kamehameha in the game as his QCF+S, if you hold it he runs a bit. His supers are all good. And damn, he has the best winscreen ever.
