Great work Doggiedoo!  Thanks so much for this character.  Here is a bug I found.  He had this in the preview 4 version as well. In the middle of the fight mugen will just freeze, not crash, with bgm still playing and will not come out with escape just ctrl-alt-dlte.  It seems to have something to do with state 140.  I have had it happen with Karin by pots, Remy by Homura and Sandman by McCready and Loganir.  I'm sure other characters will cause this too.  The freeze has occurred with different attacks by each.

Since I can't make out the fishnet in her stockings until I turn my brightness on my monitor all the way up,  I would consider lightening the nylons.  Right now she looks completely black to me except her head and hair. Looks like a good start.  good luck!

i had sp3 and i had no problem.Now i use 64-bit with sp2 and no prob also


Thanks for your info ShotokanEditor.  Did your CPU still max out when you had SP3? 


Anyone else have any mugen XP sp3 experience?

If I remember correctly it is.
But on WINXP SP3, it's 50% instead.  ;P


This quote from VinnyJ a few months ago got me wondering if anyone else has downloaded SP3 and how well mugen runs with it.  Do you get the processor to stop maxing out?  And if you do or don't , do you have dual processors or single?  I would like to know how well mugen works for different people  with SP3 before I download it.

First of all, thank you so much for your Warzard work.  Now the Leo insanity.... :sugoi:

If you do use the leveling system, I hope you include in the config the ability to make everything available immediately
kind of like the Link that was mentioned.  Of course, with all the hard work you have done, please ultimately do what you want to do, and think is best, as this will obviously be the best end product.

Hello. Does anyone have the ambient sounds for the stages from last blade (1) ?  I can't figure out how to rip them without the cpu character making noise.  In 2, it is easy, as in training you get ambient sound and in vs you can choose ambient sound.  I have the neo geo ragex version and the ps2 version.  Any ideas as how to get these sounds i no one has them?  I tried an afs explorer on the ps2 version but it seems as if it is just a neo geo emulated file.  Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

Yeah. That is definitely 3d. Looks like hella fun!!  It's like a supercharged operation wolf!!  Finaly an arcade shooter that makes sense!  Not just zombies (also fun, don't get me wrong) or weird tactical battle guys that don't bleed in color coded outfits.  You could actually be Rambo... and just yell  Yeeaaahhhhh!!! while unloading from the trench. Nice.  Light gun shooters are my 3rd favorite genre.  There are just so few of them.  Too bad we'll probably never get to play it.

Thanks everyone for this info. 

So in other words it will not be easy assigning bgm to certain stages. I will do my best at trying to fit themes to the stages.  Maybe if I play some more kof it will come to me better.

Hello. I was just wondering how the music in kof fighters works.  If it is based on a stage, or if it goes by character.  For example, if you fought 2 different characters on the same background, could you have 2 different bgm's on that stage?  Does it depend on the game?  I was just wondering because I am trying to put the correct bgm with the correct stages in my mugen.  (I am more of a capcom guy but there are many great snk stages)  Any input would be great thanks.

Well, I'm not an expert, but hi-res mugen natively runs in 640X480, while regular mugen runs in 320X240.  You could run it in higher res but I don't think you would get much good out of it as far as I can tell.

Hey!  I have the exact same problem you are and the exact same laptop.  Mugen for a while, then boop, computer dead, turns off. I'm pretty sure your cpu is overheating.  Mugen runs the cpu at a full load and the cpu starts to overheat.  I want to check my cpu and heatsink for dust but am overly cautious of cracking open the laptop.  Download this app  http://www.almico.com/sfdownload.php and watch the cpu temp (labled as core) rocket up when mugen is running. Supposedly the sempron 3100+ has a max operating temp of 95 C.  Keep this in mind.  I heard in another thread that xp sp3 gets mugen to run at 50% instead of full load on the cpu (Check task manager and performance and watch the green graph go to the top!) but I would wait until there are enough reviews on the xp sp3 as it just came out today.

Thanks Azasuke, but it does not seem to do anything if I put any value here in winmugen plus.  It may be that it is already turned on by default to have Doubleres =4.  This code was absent from the config file initialy, I had to paste it in from my regular winmugen.

Just found this in the readme by kungfuman:

"Q: Is this locked into DR4 still?
A: Should be. Kinda self-defeating if it isn't."

So yeah.  Does anyone know any way to filter mugen+?  Are there some videocards that can do this?  Software that will run any windowed program with a filter? Thanks for your help.

Hello. I have a similar question.  I like win mugen plus (mostly for the hi res select screen) But I don't like playing the game without the double res filtering for the non hi-res characters and stages.  Is there any way that the paramaters of

Could be used? I like the bilinear filtering option.  The characters  at full screen just look so jaggy when they are at low res with no filter.  Would coding this be impossible since it is already running at it's own true resolution of 640 by 480?  If it was enlarged to 800 or 600 could the filter be used?   Would this mess up the hi res select screen by blurring the small pertraits beyond recognition negating the hires select screen value? Could it only be done during the gameplay and not the select screen? Does any of this make sense? 


Also, sorry to hijack your post sevendaily, but this seemed pretty similar.  Are you saying you want your normal res characters to be half the size of hi-res characters and half the size of the stages as well?
