No matter what, 640x480. It's the perfect resolution for me where I can record properly while being able to see a damn thing.

I could revamp the parry to where it has a degree of accuracy to ABK.  However, I don't think the attacks will need too much revising, at least with her normals (balancing frame advantage and hitstun... here we go again.).  I think Akatsuki and Adler will probably be good choices for getting a "feel" for frame data. But even then, I don't want Scarlet turning into a carbon copy of the two.

I did try your scarlet and I can say her moves feel... awkward, they don't feel cohesive or smooth, they feel tanklike but this might be just me

Jango's video raised a point about the special cancelling (e.g.- Spin attack > Shoryuken).  I think I was still a little "combo creation" crazy and never really thought about it.  Specials should never cancel to other specials.  Only into super moves.
Reflector/Parry revisial will be the rough part and I think I need to find sprites for having a ground recovery roll. 

This is Gameplay specific. If the game you're trying to emulate doesn't have that at all then it's a problem.

Should also mention that you don't need to be afraid of being creative. If there's something that goes against Fighting Game "Logic" then people will point it out and you can polish it.

I could just start playing Akatsuki Blitzkampf again for a while and try to mimic the hittimes.

Dude, mimicing a game goes further from that, try to learn how the entire system of the game works.
If anything frame data and hittimes should be gone by case by case basis and reference.

random generates a different number each time it's called.  You might have the chance say way too high though, remember the chance of the following ones activated relies heavily on the chance of the previous one.

Advice at promoting your video commentaries is that you sound pessimistic when trying to promote it and compare it to "lowest common denominators" <"crass jokes or screamed like an idiot every five minutes."> which aren't really hard to avoid. It also makes you seem like you're not very happy with your results and that you didn't make this mainly for fun..

OK SO I noticed we've been LOOONG due on the updates of a certain girl:



That's right, "Little Miss Imperfect" Clone Koa is being updated as of now. So far I have:

  • Increased Physical Priority on various attacks.
  • Added Parrying according to Clayfighter 63 1/3 <see below>
  • Started working on re-adding the Clayfighter 63 1/3's comboing system, AKA the KI Ripoff <see below>
  • Changed the default palette to the much cleaner one, as shown earlier.

What's planned?
  • Adding 2 new Claytalities, I have one idea, but I most likely will need another one
  • Adding a bit more of winposes and intros, getting creative, being obnoxious and making the char unlikeable* shot *, all that jazz
  • Give her lives a better purpose, perhaps a Kamikaze super attack that kills you if you don't have enough of them. <Meter use, of course>
  • Create a hitting level 3 attack.
  • A Few more things as I improvise.
