how did manage to pull off the rips for these stage
I used the Emulator Mednafen and ripped the sprites by hand/ taking screenshots.

Sadly this game didn't get much attetion. It has some cool designed characters and the gameplay isn't bad either.
But since it runs on PC Engine CD not many people run it on an emulator I guess.
Took me a while to figure out how to run that game.

At least 2 chars where allready ported to mugen.
And now all stages ;D
wow that amazing work by taking snapshot to make the stage that right there  is very impressive work :o

That is a great story you have OG. I'm really glad your original motivation was to make your son happy, I wish all dads in the world would follow your example.

Your learning phase was natural and you should be proud of what you've achieved. Whoever you consider a "mugen professional" did the same as you did. Check what others did, tweak and play around with the coding, and then learning how to rip and creating code from scratch, and progressively improve by attempting advanced stuff.

I don't believe stage making is by itself easier than making characters or lifebars or motifs. Each one have their own specifics and caveats, it's just that making a character is a longer process and you need to spend more time to get results. But some stages actually are harder to make than characters due to their complexity :)
thank you XGargoyle for your kind words :). Its sure took me long time how everything work for mugen. I was so nerves how my stages look when I did them, I did learn a lot from everyone here and Crusader Cast :)

hahah Im 54 of age I dont know how the age thing work on these forum XD. and omg I hear a lot people telling me OG you don't sound like OLD MAN and they say I sound like lil kid on mic HAHA .. oh lord and tell you I was small in the family for short guy lol
 that must be it

That's awesome. To me, I think you're considered old once you hit your 70's. In the reverse, I've seen some people in their 70's who make people in their 50's look decrepit. I also think it's great that you're contributing to the community; age has no boundaries, much like Mugen. ;D

And for future reference, please multiquote instead of posting multiple replies.
okay ^^ sure will
