I am in the CNS file and I see nothing pertaining to how to change how fast my player Jump neutral (downwards), I am aware not too many people use this but I found a use for it, but for the life of me I don't see anything to change it, I want the falling speed to be different from the jumping up speed
Every time I open my character the palettes are missing, colors are mixed up. I'm tired of having to re-insert the sprites, Even after I do that they still mess up the next time I open my character. I don't recall having this problem before, anybody know what gives or how to fix this problem?
I am a noob at coding, I think I may be in over my head here....
My character now summons a cannon as a helper
How do I get the cannon to shoot an actual cannon ball?
The only idea I have is to have the cannonball and cannon share the same sprite, i'm not too sure if that's what I have to do, considering the cannonball should fly across the entire screen unless it hits the opponent
A side problem I am also having is, i can summon my cannon an infinite number of times, when I want to only be able to summon one at a time
So far I coded the cannon, coding the actual cannonball to fire is beyond me.............I tried for hours yesterday and today.. I'm thinking of just having the cannonball coming out of the cannon as part of the same sprite as the cannon instead
The move I am trying to code has 4 parts, they are in 4 different groups and Animations
1.Crouch, he crouches down to summon a cannon 2.Cannon summon, cannon comes out of the ground 3.Cannonball shot, shot out the cannon at the opponent 4.Explosion, cannonball explodes
Alright so I have no idea how to go about coding this stuff I'm confused as to if this cannon should be a Helper or something and the Cannonball A projectile and the Explosion well....I have no idea .-.
If nobody has any advice I hope somebody can link me to a character that does something similar so I can copy the coding and experiment with it
How did you learn to understand the CNS file and coding it?
I have no idea how to address this problem so I'll give a brief example.
Let's say I have a Goku spritesheet, let's call this Spirtesheet A. I find another Goku spritesheet and I like the Spirit Bomb in that sheet better, let's call this Spritesheet B. And so I cut out that Spirit Bomb from Spritesheet B and paste in Spritesheet A. Should I or Do I have to recolor the new Spirit Bomb sprite to match the colors already present in the Spritesheet I pasted it in?
Sorry if this is a stupid question, I'm new to making characters and I don't want to mess up
All the links to this character I am finding are broken. I managed to find another Menma, however, I can't get it to work. The link to this other Menma I found is here if anybody is interested in this one http://www.mediafire.com/download/8vjsyulcwycsi2s/menma.rar
