Just keep him the way he is, he doesnt need no speacial lightning or aura to surround him at all times you guys are asking for toooo much now.

Is there a good way to balance charcters A.I and their stats so no charcter has a huge advantage over the other, like in some cases many of my characters are good and none are cheap by any means but some have hypers and supers that they spam the HELL out of  and do major damage (3/4 life loss in some cases) and keep repeating and repeating the same combos to death!

I did abc & xyz backwards. so ignore my post. I do what xan does, and @ sai z & c would be the fierce buttons with that set up, making R1 and L1 the strong hits :)
I have jabs for the shoulders because I didn't know how to remap individual controls and wanted Eyedol to control like he did in Killer Instinct.

I was a huge noob back then.

I also did something similar for certain characters a while back.

P.S. I wish mugen had extra button mapping in their options menu for a+b+c and x+y+z  for easier combo inputs

The A.I. ramping is just an example. I've tried doing what u did at one time but all I got was constant repeating rounds of 4 matches all the way. What I do is put in 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1... and so on for the total number of matches u will have.
---If you want to change this head to the select def. file in your data folder and scoll down to the bottom where u will see

ARCADE MATCHES: ( a series of numbers)
TEAM MATCHES: (#'s) ^change these

---Next you need to change each characters order in the select.def to your needs and have the bonus stages a separate number order for them and bosses like 5 or 6 or 7.

EX: ryu, stages\badstreet.def, order=3
      sf3_ken, stages\badstreet.def, order=7
      sf3_chun-li, stages\ffight.def, order=3
      Blanka, stages\Ruined_City.def, order=2

      cvssakura, stages\highway.def, order=5

---The difficulty of each character is hard to tell. Sometimes your options difficulty will effect it and sometimes their files A.I settings will effect it.
So looking through their data with Fighter Factory will help with this.
--- This is a tedious task for 23 rounds so take it slow so u don't leave something out

I have 2 ps3 remotes that me and my bro play mugen on but it seems odd to play with street fighter 4 controls to play mugen.
If you play with the ps3 controllers what mappings do you use? Something that works well with 6 button characters plz.

remove  mugenversion not just value but key also,
if still error, you must dig to the code which cause error and remove it or replace the code with method which worked for newer mugen

Is that in their def file or do I have to use fight factory 3 and change it there?

Don't know how to do intense coding so I guess replacements are the only option. Thank you though!
p.s. - could this be the only reason my mugen crashes, ex: stages or my graphics card?
