Thanks again....your vid is a constant source of awesomeness....i STILL cant figure out my glow-erflowing issue (trying to trademark a word here lol) but i will try vs glow that when i get  a chance...we are switching out printers at schools the next two days so it may be Wednesday before I can  try it.

Sorry, must've been seeing things with the glow going outside the port. That, or you fixed it already. Anyway the Vs. Ports are supposed to have a glow/hue. (Red for P1, blue for P2.) Your ports don't have that.

im using the template...is there a reason why it wouldn't show up? is that effect not built into the template?

No, it's not part of the template. You just have to add it yourself.

ok, thanks...how would i go about doing that? Is it in Liths vid? cause i have that, i just am not in a place I can look at the moment.

Holy fucking Ken?! Ah man haven't used him in years. I got to watch these Photoshop tutorials so I can change color on characters lol. Never would've thought Holy Ken would make it.

hear that...been looking for the Holy Ken char.

I have him on my old broken mugen roster. I actually have a roster full of characters that probably aren't available anymore. It's in my 4shared tho

1. I guess thats opinion as to where the focus is. I chose to focus on her assets since there's only 1 pic
2. i brought them inside the frames because the glow overflowed, thats why the pics arent to the edge, its the only way i can keep it FROM glow-erflowing. how is there still overflow? Ill have to look at that when i can stick it in game. You have pics I can see of this please?

5. theres glow on the VS ports? I guess i never saw that. easily fixable. Thanks.

Well, I just decided to do it..only 1 pic? who cares? So for your viewing pleasure....AOBA!





HEY LITH, I am doing a MAY LEE, and i did the contract to get rid of the outline, but when i do the CTRL+shift+I, and then delete, it says it cant complete the request because the smart object is not directly editable. ideas?

oh, yes, Im sorry about that..and Im working on making ports but Ive probably got about 80 chars thart dont have ports, and they are all female...which doesn't seem to get as MUCH love as the guys here...i wouldnt ask for help but it will take me forEVER if i don't...and hopefully what I DO create will help someone else.

Yeah, Lith,  I think the same thing for AOBA...i love her but literally only find one rectangle pic...which is good for standard ports...but not legacy.

I would request anymore female ports, especially from GG or AH or VP as I have  chars from each.

and THANKS for that Ryuko port, whoever did it!!

I think I understand what you mean. I edited the outer edge of the VS-ports. (simply soft-erased off some of it)

I'm going to rewatch your color video because I wanted to do these type ports, but got lazy and never finished the tutorial. Damn good work on MB-02. He's OP, but a damn reat character

Can I Request just pics?? Been TRYING to find some MayLee and Mary/ Blue Mary? Pics to make portraits with, but not having much luck...thought maybe the masters knew a better place than google Images to find such images. As it stands the expanding or shrinking I have to do for frame ruins the sharpness of the pics. pretty much all the SNK girls that arent already ported.

i put my pic in

i right click akumas text and pick copy layer style

i right click MY pics text and pick Paste layer style

MY pic has the glow

i right click the MY pic text and pick rasterize layer

i ctrl click the box shape, get the dotted outline, and pick apply mask (or however it says it)

theres still a glow around it

"effects" and "over glow" are still listed under the pic text with options to turn it off (the eye)

I dont know. The Rasterize layer option grays out after i pick it, but i dont understand...if it locks it in, shouldn't that mean I CAN'T turn the glow off?

wait..i get a "rasterize layer" but not "rasterize layer style" (there is a copy, paste, clear) and so i rasterize layer, then mask it and it still bleeds over, the pic is cut but the glow now surrounds the resulting shape. the glow is still listed and I can turn it on and off.

as lame as it is, ive found the only thing i can do move the pcs over a bit after all this so it doesnt reach the other side, like this

ok, i put the pic in, rasterized it,  , then applied glow then applied the mask...and still had overglow...so i just moved it over out of the borders way.

did i do the steps in the wrong order?
