Unreal work Loganir and Verz! It was Loganir's work that introduced me to mugen in the early 2000's and I have always seen your work as the benchmark for quality. This collaboration between you and Verz is yet another example of both of your brilliance.  Now Christmas feels complete. Thank you both for the amazing work!

That's all kinds of kick ass Electro! Cool stage :) I would just set it so it doesn't reset between rounds and it's perfection! Definitely going to the front of my stage roster

Hi :)

I was bored so decided to update one of my old OLD stages to 1.1 with zoom. I did however get carried away and added some stuff to this oldie but goodie. Rao has been completely replaced with new sprites that look much more like a red giant that's about to go nova, I tweaked the floor and statue's cape and the city as well as many other little things while keeping the stage as a whole looking the same as it did originally). then I really got carried away and decided to make the red sun and krypton explode leaving an asteroid field of kryptonite and some little easter eggs in the background. anyone who has used the original stage will know that this stage slowly transforms over time so it is best suited for a survival round because its a completely different place then when you start it up 5 minutes in (especially now that the star goes nova and the planet blows).

So I tried to make a decent recording but it is so choppy and laggy on my crap computer its not even worth it. If someone could record it for me I would be forever grateful! instead of updating the small issue of fish delta and waterfall variation, I am going to put together a 1.0 version and then re-release the 1.0 and 1.1. in the meantime, those who use 1.1 enjoy! I am proud of this stage, I really hope you all like it! as for zoom, I may make an option for it on the re-release but I kind of like the normal gameplay as it is more atmospheric. either way I am a people pleaser so I will try to cater to you if I can :)

Electr0 - thanks for the feedback. I did that for every repeating sprite in the stage but funny enough, the two waterfalls on the right side are running on the same animation, I accidentally didn't set the alternate order for that side, the other side is exactly what you are talking about. My bad, i'll fix it, I need to set deltas for the fish anyways so i'll post an update later.

Dev - I know what you mean with most people using 1.0. I still use it for 80% of my mugen play / work. However, 1.1 allows me to use 32bit PNG images which is what made this stage possible. I would have to convert and index almost every sprite in the stage to make it 1.0 compatible. If someone knows of an easier way to retrofit the stage for 1.0 that doesn't involve me having to deconstruct the entire thing please let me know as I would love for this stage to be accessible to a much larger audience!

No Zoom - I wanted to keep it intimate

Style- Capcom Plus (Capcom on steroids)

Hi Everyone!!!

Here's a stage I have been working on for a little while and is one I have wanted to do as far back as 10 years ago but as with all mugen related things, sometimes life gets in the way. This is a typical JorEl stage in my usual Capcom "Plus" style (cartoony, but a few notches above old school Capcom). I was going for a very immersive, ambient and beautiful effect for a low res stage. while it is Capcom style, I wanted something just a little more rich and easy on the eyes. The stage is loaded with a lot of my own custom sprites and a few rips also so credit goes out to all of those. Because of the amount of PNG's used, she takes a bit to load but only seems to show slowdown when the fight first begins (intros) and then runs smoothly after that (and my computer is a POS so no one should have too many issues performance wise). The best way to experience the boatload of details is to use a flying character with infinite flight and look around. there are animations for everything including the rippling background, godrays, fountains, bubbles, water, ripples etc. There is also a timed event a couple of minutes in as a depth charge slowly floats to the bottom of the window and then detonates cracking the glass and causing leaks!

I added an ethereal ambient soundtrack also with water sounds added to the music to really create atmosphere. I am really liking how it turned out. As always, I will likely continue to tinker with it and will probably release an update down the road but for now, enjoy!!

I am working on an Atlantis like stage and while I have made a lot of my own sprites, I was wondering if anyone knows of some good sources for fish, bubbles, seaweed etc. Basically anything underwater related.
