Akuma's and Ryu's air hadoukens work that way now:

Slight movement pause during the move.
Small up and back velocity is added to their momentum.

That means, if you're jumping neutral, you'll land a far away from where you were.
If you were jumping back, you'll gain momentum after the move.
If you were jumping foward, you'll lose a slight momentum, but will keep moving foward.

So, no worries, it's still cheap as hell. :P

Pots: The shockwave is clearly touching Ken sprite when he is hit in the movie. As Baiken said, the effect is mostly dust. And yes, the attack has a fast activation.
It would be useless if it were otherwise, as ShunGokuSatsu would shadow it due to its comboability.

Kensuke: Feel free to upload those videos.
Of course, I've tweaked the system a bit more since the last batch, and adjusted a few things, but the points you raised are still valid. Guile benefited the most from those changes.

There will be no plain Akuma in this game, only Shin Akuma.
Plain Akuma's silly. :P

And Dan's got enough power already. No more juggles for him.

Hopefully, it'll be done by christmas. :)
And let's us see what I'll be able to do for Fei Long.
But Zangief is top priority right now.

Some good news in the front.

I got the sprites for both Zangief and Fei Long done today.
Hopefully, I'll have both done by next sunday.

Wait... WINMugen requires it ???
Then why are teh old DOS Mugen creations able to work in WIn... there's something i'm not thinking of I'm sure  :S

I love that last line  :sugoi:

Only those that DON'T override common.cns, you see. :P

Those which work in winmugen do so because those triggers are in common.cns, which comes with mugen...

I'll start turning Haggar sprites into Zangief ones today, after my beauty sleep. :P

I have the sprites from that rom, but he's lacking many attacks such as the SPD.
And then I'll try to downgrade some of his SSF2 sprites as well.

Think about the good side of it.
Unless I can sprite Sakura, there won't be any other shoto in that game.  ;P

Also, there's that many shotos because they were easier to sprite. :P

Jagged Alliance 2.
Trying to retake Chizena Sam Site with Hamous, Hairware, Razor and Ira.

Hamos sees a decomposing body of a previous Deddriana assault team soldier and goes:

"Me no want end like this", with his broken english.

At this moment, an elite soldier appears out of no where and gets an interrupt. He shoots Hamous three times for 115 damage.
Hamous falls dead the second after he claimed he didn't want to end like that.

I almost feel from the chair laughing...

Jagged Alliance 2 is such a good game...

Here in Brazil racial miscegenation is a pretty common thing.

Yes, it's possible to combo from it if you're in the corner. :)

And I don't plan to give Akuma/Gouki Misogi. I find that attack to be just too plain and not flashy enough for such a skilled fighter.

If I ever decide to put Dan into it, he'll have Misogi. :P

And I won't molebox it. ^_^
