Okay I actually finished it wow didn't think I'd do it in one day. Also decided to make a Select Icon for him it looks like his face is pushed against a window lol (and that he seems to be copying a certain other Character like a Copy Cat mmM~? :catgoi:)

The big portrait needs some more work (if you compare it to the ones Ronnie made for the build)  but I overall like both works! Great to see some progress on Neko Majin!

Thanks. For a sec it took me awhile to know who Ronnie is and I forgot he's Balthazar lol. But yeah aside from the clothes the rest needs a bit more. and this for Alpha btw so.

Personally thinking that it's looking great. Just not sure about both of his hands being mirrored in the crouching stance.

Looks great Alpha! Although I imaged his jump would include that leaf he has in the manga (Oh well it could be his Intro or something). I like how well animated it is (Probably better then what I'm trying to make for my OC's Animation but). As for the crouching stance I like how it looks, although I do feel odd about the paws and arms, but it's fine I guess.

Alpha that jump looks pretty good! My only nitpick would be that the leg on the right seems a bit static.

I agree, about the leg.
CVS Ryu's jump was what I used for reference.
I will try keeping that leg straight out, and bending it in like the opposite leg.
It should look a bit Cyclops-ish.

Looks Terrific! ^_^ in my opinion (Now he just needs the tail to be added). Btw I Found this from Supersonic Warriors 2, and thought maybe some of the sprites might be of good use.

Thank you for looking out for me ZX2.
The character icons looks rad!
The animations need a lot more than just a tail.  To make progress with the character I am just blocking out the sprites to get an idea of the character's moment before I clean them up. I have a lot of experience getting animations fully rendered only to have to redo them. So I am just posting WIP's to save time.

I appreciate it, but I already knew about these sprites.
These sprites are where I got some of the colors I used on my Neko Majin.
I also traced over the Nekokamehameha  to make my own.

My punch animation was also inspired my these.
Again, I appreciate the excitement. It is motivating knowing I am not the only person who would like to see this character in a game.

Yeah I know what you mean with the tail thing it comes after all the character's movements are given a proper concept.
I tried doing something like that with my character's tail animation which didn't go to well. but I used your Neko Majin Idle gif to experiment
and this is what Iended up getting. instead.


that is not the current sprite it's actually fairly old. here is what I'm working with now.

The forward walk was 13 frames, but I just used 8 since that is how many frames Neko used.

I thought about using adult Felicia's tail, but it was too long.

Oohh I see. Never really thought of that (Actually it's not a bad idea using Felicia's tail). Well if it wasn't for your Neko Majin Sprite Kairia or Karika or- whatever wouldn't have been possible at the time. -_' But I yeah I see what you mean by cutting the tail short now I know how I can make the tail Animate better thanks for the info Alpha. ^_^

Tried out that tail animation and I gotta say it looks great.

I edited the color and also gave it a bright spot at the end (Which actually looking at it now could use a bit more touching up).  but Needs to be a few centimeters longer to match the tail length of the current sprite I'm using.

Oh no this was just to test out the tail animation. But as for that breathing thing, I was gonna try giving her facial animation like blinking, and a quick second breather, as if she's calm, relaxed, and waiting for someone to press a button on their keyboard/pad/arcade stick. Although that would be funny & awesome if she really could hold her breath for an entire day XD
I could use the Fighter Factory 3 thing to check out some of the facial animations that the Z2 characters have, and try making that before someone else does I guess.

After seeing Neko Majin Z in the background of one of the Hyper Dragon Ball Champ build stages I decided to make his head 10% bigger.
This is just a quick edit to see if the head size works.

I agree they really do look good (better then how I started with my OC). Although the stance looks funny, and the 3 palettes that have full blue skin suit part looks great in my opinion.
